Remarks
I think college is full of experiences and emotions.I’ve met the best people and the worst people. I’ve had the best and worst professors as well. I’ve learned from other people’s mistakes and helped people based off my mistakes. I tutor people to help benefit their education. I’ve made college my own experience. In my opinion, college in general, is what you make of it. I think college has been the best portion of my life so far.
Course Curriculum Overview
college of engineering Chengannur is affiliated to Kerala technological University. Most of the engineering colleges in kerala are under the kerala technological University.i think course curriculum offered by the University not updated according to the our present situations. I think we have a well defined exam structure. The University publish the academic calander before the beginning of each academic year.
Placement Experience
Placements were good and almost 70% of the students from our batch got placement.Tata, Mahindra, cognizant,Reliance etc., are some companies that come to our college for placements. Efficient placement cell is also available.The instituition offers some of the best packages in the state.
College Events
College is something that you put into your own perspective. You go on a journey and you pick your own path. So many events were celebrateed in our college.for me main celebration is arts, it is 3 days program, fully of happy.and other events are tech fest, sports fest, college day , Campion and common celebrations like onam ,holi and Christmas.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure in our college is pre defined one. Our college is a government self financing college. For these kind of colleges in Kerala. Fees structure are same.for government seats 35k per year, for management seat its about 60k and for nri seats its about 1lac.
Fees and Financial Aid
College itself not providing any scholarships. But college will help you to get scholarships are provided by the state government and centeral government. There are so many scholarships for engineering students provided by the government.
Campus Life
College is not about studies too they provide other things.i think our college is good at providing extra curricular activities. We have own college band , Cricket team , football team. We have cricket football ground, basketball court , tennis court , billiards and list goes on
Alumni/Alumna
Our college is incomplete without our seniors. The aluminies are very helpful.they try to provide economic support to our college. In our college we have seperate team for coordinating and contacting alumini.
Admission
I got a admission in college of engineering by kerala entrance exam.KEAM is a state level exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala, for admissions into the UG Engineering programs offered by various government and private colleges of the state.?
Faculty
Teachers in our college are so helpful and knowledgeable as they can make students understand the new concepts very easily. The course curriculum is so effective as students can relate to the present world as we get hands-on experience in practical knowledge. Every faculties are highly qualified. They are friendly and take classes in understanding way for students. They are happy to help us. Most of them teaches us in efficient maner with the help of technology.
