Remarks

Campus is awesome. Locals are every where and cows are wandering through campus is disgusting. College is awesome and life there is awesome. 4 years will. Pass like 4 days. Really awesome. Best Engineering college in kerala

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is great and the staffs are awesome. Faculties are so helpful and the lab and technical requirements is awesome. The campus is in 186 Acre. Exam is sem by sem and in each sem there will be internal exams.

Placement Experience

Placements are depended upon which course you study. Every Department has placements but some courses has high value like fire and safety, the minimum wage offer is 1lakh per year. Every other course has placements from google, amazon, byjus app etc

College Events

There is a lot of college events an all of them is really awesome. There will be college arts and college sports for 3 days yearly and university arts and university sports for 5 days annually. And there will be festival celebration like onam, christmas, Eid. And Fresher's day is conducted. And every hostel has hostel fests yearly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is depended upon whether you are admitted through merit or payment seat. Merit will be 21000 per annum and payment 35000 per annum. If you are reserved caste you only have to pay 250 rupee per sem and hostel and food is free for reserved caste

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't aware about that. Chelakkalle ariyatha karyam njan engane ondakkaana athum 200 character. Undamporiyum. Chayayum. Pinne ninte thalayum. Onnu podo chelakkaand. very good and awesome loan facilities

Campus Life

Labs are fully functioned. There are computer labs, electrical labs, electronis labs, safety and fire labs, machine labs, civil labs,. there is basketball court tennis court 11's football pitch and athletics and volleyball.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are awesome. There will be single room double room and a mess for food amd every floor has a number of bathrooms. Have a common club room for watching TV or play carroms. The Hostel life is really awesome at CUSAT

Yes. They are very helpfull and the helps the college financially and. Seniors are the best. Ponne onnum parayanda ellaaam poli thanne teame. adipoli full on chill. Cheyth irikkaam padicha polikkum.

Admission

I've got admission in CUSAT through Sports Quota and I've included in the ranklist of CAT exam. Sports quota through management vacancy. For the first year I've payed 86000 Rupees and the rest 35000 per semester.

Faculty

Faculty is nice and helpfull. Every department has a Head and Teachers will be professors and assistant professors. Guest Lectures are appointed for short time course. Each faculty give us internal marks.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I have only applied to CUSAT, we i was not able to get admission there i would choose to work in a company. It was just a try from my side, but it actually worked out. For MTech, GATE qualifiers can direclty get the admission without any other exams. They can also avail monthly stipent of around Rs 10000. Other exam for admission is DAT exam which is conducted by the respective department of the course. I have taken the DAT exam under the Department of Statistics , where this MTech Data Science and Analytics is present. The eligibility includes BTech or MSc. Cutoff is majorly based on the number of students writing the exams and the number of seats. So cutoffs can vary. Students are selected based on the DAT ranklist. Spot admission is conducted for the remaining seats. There is also a least chance for students who didnt write the DAT Exam can also get the admission at the 2nd or 3rd spot admissions....Read More
