Remarks

The positive think about my college is that it is located in very beautiful area scenery beauty is mind blowing and does waking up every morning to search beauty is it seems as a heaven the negative about the college is that there are no local industries or no industrial training near so that students can be locally get internships it's not that well we have to go to other places for placements

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good but not upto the marks for today's requirements. Ad today fields like machine learning , artificial intelligence are popular but nothing abt them is taught and programming languages like c are focused

the placement in job opportunities in the college are good for those who study all four years they are not good for the students root 2 extra curricular sports as 17 the job opportunities and placements are very difficult to find here for the students to waste time but they are very good at are enough for the students who study all for air around here and do their work with great passion and interest

Our college has parakarm as sporta fest le fieastus as annual fest muricious as tech fest this year we had e- subbmit as an entrepreneur submmit where many renound people were invited we also ha start up expo as robotics fest

The fee of our college is enormous it is like unbelievable fee for what they provide , they are just looting students who study here the fee i around 4 lakhs + for this University and which is very high

There is no scholarship / loan our college doesn't provide any scholarships / loan. No scholarship/loan is provided by our college. We don't get amy scholarship/loan from our college They give us nothing

Campus Life

there are many extra curricular activities in our college activities includes force games indoor games outdoor games in the lab are very good in law is for physics lab for computer lab are well equipped we have not visited or chemistry lab yet

Alumni/Alumna

the seniors and alumini of our college are very helpful the senior guide us in various fields we can ask them about or ask them to guide us on the part that we are interested they conduct many meetings where they explain to us how should we go about in the college and how should we learn anything

Admission

First of all Students submitted their marks online.Secondly Students were shortlisted on the basis of there 12 marks and 10th marks. Finally Personal interview in which questions on which field and why we wanted to join

We have great faculty some of the teachers are very educated on the contrary some of them are not that good.but overall tge faculty is very understanding and helping. They solve your doubts and teach well

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . After that students can attend the counselling sessions where they can vbisit the college get to know about the college . the admission staff is very helpful and they guide the students and family step by step throught out the whole process....Read More

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements.
