Amazing placements almost every student gets placed the faculty is nice and are really good at their job. The only negative aspect of the college is that it's infrastructure, The infrastructure compared to other colleges are not that good
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum seems fine to me. Exam structure is like 4 years 8 semesters each semester 1 main exam 2 unit test and assignment mark(10) a total of 150 for each subject. Exam marks are in grades. Grades range from O A+ A B+ B C P F
Placement Experience
Cs and Ec course have 100% placement with an avg package of 8LPA. Most of the companies that come for placement are cs based and students have to pass the coding round and interview round to get selected. This year's highest package till now is 21 lakh CTC and 6 Students got them
College Events
Excel - tech fest Arts day Sports day Excel is an annual event which is of 3 days each day having competitions talk events workshops etc. Arts and sports are conducted by 4th years with 4 groups and it can go up to 3 months
Fee Structure And Facilities
Merit - 35000 management-65000 nri-100000 The fee structure is based on your rank in the entrance exam with 40% students getting merit 50% students getting management and 10% nri it's feasible compared to colleges like VIT or SRM
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship are offered by the college but the government offers many scholarships. The college faculty will send u mail on details of scholarship and how to apply to get them loan is also not available from the college
Campus Life
Excel has many competitions which are really competitive each event are great are really will help u in ur future endeavours. Lab is conducted every semester with min of 2 labs sports and arts are conducted during jan-march and are good
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is the most important part of the college and are known to us students as Ex-Mec. They are helping us in every matter and thay are always there in every aspect of the college including placement excel etc
Admission
Wrote Keam exam cleared with a tank of 4000. Model had a cut off rank of 6k for computer Science and i was able to get in. They will then call u for admission process in college which is basically certificate submission after that college will start around August 1
Faculty
The faculty is good each professor has a PhD and the rest are assistant professor all of them are well versed in the subject they teach. The lab assistants are also teachers so any doubts can also be cleared by them
