Space of dreams

Overall our college is quite decent and well known in the city. I like it. The campus of college is very green and cool. You'll feel like your are at a hill station. So yeah I like the atmosphere,theme of my college.

What I think is the course should have been more diverse than it currently is. We do get the knowledge of things but it is more in the form of theory. I think students will do very much better if the curriculum is more practical or application based. Same is the case for exams, the more practical and real life applications of things they teach us, more we'll be able to give it to the market out there. To give the people what they actually need.

The placements at our college are average, at least for my department of computer engineering. They offer placements to different companies out there and students are doing good out of it. As for the internships, I currently don't have an internship but I'm planning to enroll in one next year.

This is field for which our college is famous for. Our college organises a lot of events throughout the year. For example,Sinhgad Karandak and sinhgad carnival. They also have various extra curricular activities like drama, dance music and all.

It's average actually. It's not much expensive but also it's not too cheap. I pay an amount of 98,000 per year as my college fees. This is the average fees the engineering students in my city pay for the course so I guess I have made a right choice.

Up to my knowledge our college does not provide any loan facilities or scholarships to students. If there was any I must have known about now. Even if they do, it is not a very much help for students who are actually not having money to pay them.

Yes they have teams for various sports like football,cricket, volleyball etc. Our college is the only college in Pune which has a full size cricket ground where all the inter collegiate and state level matches are held. Speaking of labs, they have quite good labs, the accessories are quite good. But I'll say I'll expect more if I'm paying you a hefty pile of cash.

Yes they do help sometimes but not much in my experience. The senior network is quite good though. Many of my seniors are working in different fields and are doing good in their life. Students do get the benefits of such seniors.

I was in the 12 the standard. Here in my state, they take an entrance exam called CET through which I got the admission to this college. I had marks more than the cutoff list so I was able to make it there.

The faculties of the college are quite decent. They have the right knowledge of what they are teaching and how much of it is actually getting absorbed by their students. But, according to law of exception, exceptions are everywhere and our college is no different. They have some faculties who either don't have the right knowledge of the subject or they do but don't know how to convey it to the students. Personally I prefer to focus on positives our college has to offer.
