About our college. Our college is having keralas largest infrastructural campus. Our college have a vast area of space. Academics here in our college is great. Our college have good background in sports and all of the other cultural activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
Nowadays in the field of engineering, Chemical Engineering is having large scope in pharmaceutical, petrochemical, petroleum and many other industries. Its having a large scope out of India in the gulf countries and all. Chemical engineering is one of the best branch in the field of engineering.
Placement Experience
Many companies are recruiting many students from out college. Our college is having a TBI(technology business incubator) , that is a place where you can do your projects and get internships. Its a place where you can start a startup company and everything like that. Every year many of our students are recruited. I dont have experienced it since i am a first year student, joined the college this year.
College Events
Our college celebrates a mega fest called Azure which is a tech fest, it is floor for showing of your projects and they conduct many other programs. This will gaim you many activity points which can gain you credits.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure here is feasible as compared to the quality of education we get.The college is having a vast campus and a large no. of teaching and non teaching faculties. And here the education we get is a good one for which the fees is very cheap.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers a loan facility. The loan is to be taken as a student loan. In my knowledge i dont came to know about any scholarship in my college. But the college is deducting only less fees from the backward cast people. And are providing laptops for scheduled caste and tribe.
Campus Life
The labs here are of great infrastructure. And the lab assisstant here are having good degree. And the lab has all the safety measures. In terms of sports, our college has sports team for athletics, badminton, football, basket ball, volley ball, cricket, table tennis and many more. Our college have ground and courts for every sport.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is one of the great thing in Amal Jyothi College. There are almost more than 800 rooms and the rooms are great infrastructure. The rooms are greatly built and the food we get are also good. The fees for the hostel is also affordable.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are very helpful. They tell us about the college, about placements amd recruitments, about the course and about faculties, they thaught how to be an engineering student in class and how to become a good engineer.
Admission
Merit list. I have written KEAM entrance test and i have qualified the test. I was having a rank of nearly some 32000. I was asked to give my priority list of colleges and courses. I have kept Amal Jyothi College as the 1st option. And in the 2nd allotment i have got allotment in a college named Toms College Of Engineering. From there i have got 3rd allotment in Amal Jyothi College Of Engineering, and currently i am studying here as a first year stident.
Faculty
The faculties in our college are well educated. All most every faculties have completed their graduation and post graduation from well known colleges. Many of the faculties are having B.tech And M.tech and some are having doctrate.
