JOURNEY FROM THE HELL TO HEAVEN

Positive remarks is the college is autonomous because we are directly under the Cochin University of Science and Technology. So the CUSAT name plays a big role in whole Kerala. The certificate has a big value. In case of negative remarks, some works are not doing properly, like small maintenance work and all.

If we say about fees structure the structure is divided into three that is 1.State merit 2.All India Merit 3.NRI Here let me explain the rate incase 1.state merit :have to pay around 25 thousand per sem it's only the college fees 2.All India Merit:Have to pay 46 thousand per sem excluding hostel fees the fee is only for college study 3:NRI:It cost 50+ semester

Placement: In case of placement many companies come for it. The placement starts in the 4th year starting, most of the companies come here looking for the students who don't have any back paper, some of the companies also provide internships too, now I am in 2nd year so I haven't attended any placement or interview.

Here according to events celebrated by the name of college there are 3 1.DHISHNA 2.VIPANCHIKA 3.SPORTS here let me explain 1.DHISHNA:it is the tech fest organized in the college which include workshop, projects and all from corner to corner from all Engineering branches which are there in college 2.VIPANCHIKA: This is the arts festival which is held in the college.in this event there will be writing activities, singing, dancing and all 3.sports: as usual the games will be held

The fee structure is feasible, comparing to some other colleges this college cost less amount. So we can't say it's not feasible but comparing to KTU colleges our college is demand ×2 money from students.

There are some scholarship exams but I haven't attended yet I have heard and seen most of the keralite student are having one entrance named facility that is the govt pays a particular amount of money to a particular student based upon his or her caste

In lab there is so many facility, actually we don't need to depend outside because all the facilities are inside the campus.all the branches are running very smoothly.in case of sports there is one big football ground where we can play games, there is indoor game facilities too

Yup am staying in hostel.that is am staying within the college hostel.it doesn't cost high, it cost only 495 per month excluding mess fee, mess fee cost around 3000 maximum per month, now in the hostel which am staying there is 2 kind of mess that is 1 is Kerala mess and another is north Indian mess

Here seniors are very friendly, in case of malayalis if go to one for help they won't refuse they help everyone here we don't discriminate anyone we look everyone as brothers and sisters, according to me there won't be any college who are having that much bonding capacity with one other, all are help handed here, everyone is free to help

I got admission because am from Lakshadweep so the Lakshadweep govt has paid the amount per seat in each branch. I applied for it and by merit list I got admission here. For others have to appear for CAT exam which includes the entrance exam for CUSAT. By having high merit one will get the seat.

I would like say the teaching is good here and the syllabus is super. But the problem is most of the faculty members are coming here for contract basis.only few of the faculty members are permanent teachers but whether the teacher is in contract basis they teaches same as permanent staff.
