Information about my college

My college is well suited for the students who seek to achieve better education while seeking the comfort of their home. The quality of education is best amongst all the colleges present in the area. But the negative point about it is there is not much exposure.

Course curriculum is very easy and convenient for students to understand. We undergo exams according to CBES(Credit based Evaluation System). We have two exams: one of 20 marks and another of 80 mark which add up to make final score which is then converted to GPA.

Many tech gaints like TCS, CAPEGEMINI, NAGARRO and many other companies provide internships and placement opportunities within the campus itself. Most of the packages are around 6 LPA , highest being 12 LPA.

There are a lot of events prevailing in ghe University like JASHAN , YOUTH FESTIVAL and many department fests like POLARIS of Computer Engineering Department, Exordium, Electronic Tech fest and almost every departmant has its own fest.

It can be called feasible as I am paying around 70000 Rs for odd semesters and 50000 for even semesters. All other technical courses also lie in nearly same price range but non technical courses are around 30000Rs per semester.

There are two types of scholarships given to the students. First one is for poor students whose family income is less than 1 lakh per annum and second one takes consideration of the marks as well as the family income of the student.

Our university is well equipped with various types of labs in my department we have physics lab chemistry lab and research lab and along with it two computer lab and one hardware lab. The quality of equipments is very good and latest.

The seniors are very helpful in the university. They they help me in knowing various things which I can do after the degree and during the course like various workshops and internships. the alumni of the University has excelled in many fields Ranjit Bawa, Satinder satti and many other famous names are associated with the university alumni.

Firstly I gave JEE Mains and cleared the cutoff. Then I applied online at www.gndu.ac.in for admission in BTech CSE. After applying, I went for Counseling where seats were allotted according to preference to higher rank holder in JEE MAINS. After I got my seat confirmed, I deposited the fee for first semester at the moment and verified my documents with them and hence got admitted.

Faculty of University has a lot of knowledge and brilliant teachers but sometimes they skip lectures. They are very supportive and their concepts are very clear. They somewhat lack some teaching expertise.
