Remarks

There is nothing negative as such to say about our college.overall it is a good platform for an engineer.and i am happy that im here.they are many more opportunities but we should learn how to grab them for ourselves.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical Engineering department of pes Modern college of engineering is very much supportive and cooperative.we have online exam for 50 marks,theory exam for 50 marks and internal 25 marks.some of the subjects carry 25 marks for viva too.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are very much in PES Modern college of engineering.they do provide internships.As i am just a second year student so i do not know about the stipend and experience but yes we do conduct in house internship too.

College Events

PES Modern college of engineering celebrates most of the events like Cultural program, traditional day,black and white day, Bollywood day, mismatch day,freshers party,farewell party,convocations,gandhi jayanti, chhatrapati shivaji maharaj jayanti and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As i stand in open category,fee for me is around 90000/-. But again as i have applied for government scholarship i need to pay just the half amount of total tuition fees.As far as SC/ST is concerned they pay just 2000/- to 4000/- yearly.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have applied for chhatrapati shahu maharaj scholarship from my college.this scholarship provides the fees half to that of the total tuition fees that one needs to pay.in my case i need to pay 49000/- and rest is paid by the government.

Campus Life

PES Modern college of engineering put a lot of effort in extra curricular activities.they emphasize more on student participating in extra curricular activities.just for example on October 2nd,2019 we all students made a solar lamp.this workshop was organized in our college by IIT bombay.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very much helpful in every aspect whether it is academic related or extra curricular.we do not find any difficulty in talking to them or asking any help from them.anytime they are ready to help us

Admission

I have got an admission through cap rounds method by mht-cet.in the second cap round i was alloted to pes modern college of engineering and after getting its reviews from various websites i was finally got in.

Faculty of PES Modern college of engineering is aal good.they are all very talented, they are supportive,cooperative,helpful and full of knowledge.especially electrical engineering dept has the best faculty.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

College review for better selection for better opportunities in future

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

When i look my college over the other colleges in the pune and especcially in my area as compared to the location , placement , and the college is nice.
