My College Review

This campus grows on you even when you are far from home and struggling to keep up with studies and extracurricular activities the faculty and students here are so so helpful that everything becomes easier to do here.

The course curriculum is far better than most universities as it is constantly updated to keep up with the industry requirements and different trends in the market. For our exams we have to attempt a 70 mark paper. We have two unit tests of 10 marks each too in the course of the semester.

Since we are part of the NMIMS university my course has a great brand name. Due to this we get many good companies both domestic as well as international for placements and job opportunities. One example is Rakuten and Future group

My college has three major annual festivals. A cultural fest called Protsahan, a technical fest called Ambiora and a sports fest known as Flavium. We also have few festivals such as NMMUN, YSF by AIESEC, TedX, etc.

My fee structure is 385000 for an academic year. It is expensive but if compared with the facilities available on my campus then it seems a tad bit reasonable. Even still it is on the expensive side to pay the fees.

I do not know about any scholarships or loans provided by my college that can be availed. In most cases loans available through an external factor for example a company offering scholarship can most probably be availed.

My campus is vast and has many facilities for sports and extracurricular activities. We have two tennis courts, a basketball court, two badminton courts, a volleyball court, a full size cricket field with a pitch, a football ground and a swimming pool. Additionally we also have a gym, a movie theatre and a music room.

The hostel here is very good as compared to other universities and is extremely well kept by the staff here. My hostel fees are included in the fee structure above. The mess is pure vegetarian with options for even Jain food. Eggs can be eaten but have to be additionally paid for.

Most of the seniors on my campus are great and friendly. They are able to help if and whenever they can do so. I am not sure about the alumni network established in my university. As I have not heard of any such program.

I saw an advertisement in the newspaper for the entrance exam of my university. I applied online for the entrance exam. The exam conducted by my university is the NPAT exam. The exam comprises of logical reasoning, mathematics and English questions. Once I obtained a rank I went for counselling for the admission process to choose the course I wanted according to my rank in the exam.

The faculty in my college is amazing and has many years of experience in their respective fields. They possess higher levels of education degree and many of my teachers have experience of working in the industry.
