The college has a lot of potential and is one of the best colleges in kerala.It has a beautiful campus and also have students from different parts of the country as well as the world and we will know about different cultures.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the course is good. There will be 6 subject each semester and each subject has 4 modules.There will be 2 internals each semester and a university exam.60 marks will be from externals and 40 from internals and total of 100 marks. There are also 2 labs each semester
Placement Experience
The college is having a very high rate of placements and job opportunities.Lot of software and core companies are coming to the college. As of now college is not providing any internships, we have to do internships in other organizations.
College Events
Dhishna - This is the tech fest in our college and is one of the main celebrations of the engineering department. Vipanchika - This annual cultural event of the engineering department. Sargam - the annual cultural event of the university.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's a feasible fee structure. There are two types of seats. State merit and all India merit.The higher ranked students from Kerala are given state merit seets.These seats only costs around 25000 per semester. The all India seats costs around 40000 per semester
Fees and Financial Aid
Lots of scholarships are offered by the college especially for students with reservations.One of the scholarships is called e grand and is given obc and sc/at students which give them a sufficient amount.
Campus Life
The college has a huge university ground with a big football ground and cricket pitch and practicing nets.There is also a basketball court a volleyball court, a handball court, shuttle court, a gym.There also lots of labs for every department.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are having good infrastructure and have all the necessary aminities. The hostel also provide very good for the students.The hostels are also very cheap as it will cost only around Rs 500 for a month as the rent for the room. The mess is also very cheap as it will only costs around 2000 per month
Alumni/Alumna
Yes alumni are doing a lot for the college. They are sponsoring sufficient funds for the college for conducting many events such as the tech fests and cultural fests mentioned earlier.They are also giving proper guidance for the current students.
Admission
I wrote the entrance exam for cusat and was selected. This exam is called CAT(Common Admission Test). The exam is fairly easy and was easy to crack. Once you cracked the exam the admission process is done in stages based on the ranks of the exam.I got admission in the second allotment.
Faculty
The faculties college are good. There are both permanent and temporary staffs in the college. Most of the faculty are very friendly and supportive to the students. Most of the permanent staffs are very experienced professors.
