Mar Athanasius College which rank 4 th in kerala under ktu.

Good campus with good facility and faculty.No students political activities are allowed.But the college is very strict.It is a aided college so no freedom asmuch as in Government College.They give equal importance for curriculum and extra curriculum activities.

Our college is following Kerala Technical Universities syllabus.The University came around a 5 year it had many mistakes in conducting exams and valuation. The revaluation scheme most of time made failed students pass by a good grades. There are two semesters in each year.Total 4 year course.Each semester had two internal exam and assignment test also.Each subject is given different credits.year out system is also followed those who failed to achieve the required credits got wash out.

Various companies vist our college for campus interview.Many students got palced in various streams most of the placement are happening in Compute science field.3rd year and 4th year student with no back up papers are allowed to attend it.

There are two kind of main events taking place in college along with small small programs.First one is Tech fest which take place in odd semester named as Takshak.And during even semester Sanskriti ,these are the two main events.And also important days are celebrated in college with various programs.

There are seats for merit and management students.Merit students joined here by qualifying entrance exam and the management students give around 8 lakh depending on course as donation. And the yearly fee structure for both team is around 8500 it is government fixed fee.

There is no such scholarship or loan offered by college.This is a management control college half government. The students are getting scholarship through governments various scheme the college also inform about these kind of scholarship if available with the criteria for its eligibility.

The college give equal important to extra curricular activities as given to curriculum.They provide large area for playing cricket, football etc.Also have indoor stadium where basketball , volleyball etc are played.Good facility lab are provided.

I opted for college hostel the new hostel have very good facility it is for 2nd year students.And the remaining hostel doesn't have these kind of facility as they where constructed long years before.

Senior students are giving lot ideas and information about college and syllabus.Very active alumni centre is located in the college many meetings and orientation are provided by them.Alumi also help the college to improve their facilities.

I wrote KTU entrance exam and got qualified with a rank of 5650. The subject for exam are physics chemistry maths which was thought during higher secondary school time.The ktu give equal importance to plus two mark and entrance exam of ktu for the rank.

Some teachers are good at their teaching some are not up to the level. The teachers join the college by giving lakhs of money.They are not joining by any test.So they are not up to the level compared to Government College faculty. They take lectures daily and give notes.
