Remarks
Overall it is good. But I suggest to have a placement in the city of Kolkata, so that companies cone frequently during placement. As Haldia is very side of the city, many companies don't bother to come here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus structure changed totally from our batch onwards. The number of subjects per semester decreased but got lengthened. Four internals are taken as per now and practical and theory exams are held as per MAKAUt routine.
Placement Experience
The placement are very good for CS/IT/ECE. Almost 90% of students get placed. But as far as the placements of core branches are concerned, they do not get good placement. Yes there are some students who through their extraordinary skills get placed at high packages also but overall it's not good for core branches.
College Events
Our college celebrate many fests every year. In March tech fest named PRAYUKTI is celebrated and students from many colleges come to participate and enjoy. Annual cultural fest also takes place in the month of November. Many games , treasure hunts and etc are played every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible now a days because 40k per semester is something everyone has to afford in a private B.tech college. As compared to other colleges in India it's a bit safe to say that the fee structure here is quite feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
Sorry. I don't know about any loan facilities provided by our college. But yes in the name of scholorship, they get fee waved of the students of every branch who get maximum marks in semester exams in consecutive semester.
Campus Life
Yes. As I belong to IT branch so I have 4 day labs out of 5 in a week. As far as sports are concerned, it's held on a regular basis and annual sports meet are also organised every year by our college.
Alumni/Alumna
Yaa the advice from various alumni are very helpful. They can guide us through their experience in this college , how to enhance out skills in our opted department and how to increase our chances in getting placed.
Admission
I got admission in this college via merit list of wbjee exam, though students get enrolled through their JEE rank also. I secured 11,332 rank and was eligible to get IT branch in this college in the spot round counselling of Wbjee.
Faculty
Ofcourse Faculties play a very important role in building your knowledge block. In our college, Faculties are helpful, friendly, though strict, but always encourageous and supports us in studies as well as in extra curricular activities.
