Remarks
The location of the college is a bit weird & no buses go through in. There is PMC bus facility for reaching college which drops us off at 500m from the gate. The roads are very small after that so there is unnecessary traffic sometimes
Course Curriculum Overview
The 4 year course of BE in Mechanical Engineering is a core one. The faculty and teaching methods are quite good. The exam structure is regular and there are many exams (Unit Tests, Prelim, mock) held throughout the semester
Placement Experience
College does not provide internships. But they do arrange a lot of co-curricular activities, courses which helps in skill development and CV building. The placements are mostly IT related and the core placements are rare.
College Events
There is an annual college gathering every year. The event is a big one. Our college also celebrates Traditional day and other similar days. Ganesh festival is also celebrated in our college on large scale
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible compared to other colleges. Other colleges have an average of INR 1.2 lakhs fee, whereas our college has around INR 75-85 thousand for general-open students. Students can also avail scholarship
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college allows the availment of government scholarships. Also some private scholarships can also be availed externally. There are some small scholarships arranged by college itself 1. Rajashri Shahu Scholarship (EBC) 2. Punjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship (Hostel Students)
Campus Life
There is a ground between hostel and college where students can cricket, volleyball. There is an NCC wing in our college. The lab equipments are working except some of them. The computer lab is good with all the required softwares.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a good alumni network in our college. There is an annual lunch for alumni Students. There is also job opportunities for alumni students. I can't comment if it's helpful or not yet, but it doesn't seem much helpful.
Admission
I was a diploma passout. So I was trying Engineering admission through CAP rounds. First CAP round landed me the 2nd shift of this college. The second CAP round remained unchanged. The third CAP round landed me in the first shift.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is good and very much educated, especially the Mechanical department faculty. They are supportive and knowledgeable. They guide you when necessary. Supportive of attendance.
