RIT is situated in the middle of rubbers.So campus is vast and there is lot of places which are quiet and peacefull.In the cases of labs RIT is simply the best.nearest colleges bring their students to here to do their labs.

Course curriculum will be much harder for you in 1st year.Just after 3 months of class you will have really difficult exam.The syllabus is wast and time is less.During a semester which is hardly 3 month we have to face 2 internals semester exam for each subject and lab exams also.

In case of placements computer science department is the king. 90 percentage of them are place during the course with a descent salary.But mechanical department is dull in it.But college provided us some internship like teaching CFD software,CAD software.But they are with out stipent.

Out main fest is RITU,which is a national level techno cultural fest conducted every year with the collaboration of college union. Fresher's day which is a programme for 1st year students to show their skills to the college.

Being a goverment college fee structure is not much expensive.It only have around 9000 tution fee for an year and most of the students gets it through various scholarships.Mens hostel is also not much expensive and only cost around 3000 per month.

There are lot of scholarships that has been provided directly from goverment.College office staffs are very helpful for availing it.SC/ST,OEC students don't have mess fee and tution fee.E grantz scholarship is available for economically weak students.Alumni also provide scholarship for one student from each class.

There are lots of sports events in RIT. Football tournament for fresher's called fathers cup.Interdepartmental floodlight football tournament named gloazo,and cricket tournament named challengers and lot more

First of all I have to give full marks for my hostel atmosphere.Its only have moderate infrastructure and facilities but all of that will be forgotten when you stay only one month here with your friends.

Alumni provides scholarship for economically weak students from each class,which is a great thing,and alumni helping for bringing their working companies to the college for various placement drives.

I got 2815th rank in kerala engineering entrance examination. I opted for mechanical engineering in this college. But I only got admission on lower option,that is in NSS college palakkad. But i was eager about RIT. I applied for 3rd allotment and got the admission.

Faculties,specifically in mechanical engineering is very experienced.Most of the teachers are coming from an industrial background experience,just because of their interest in teaching.So they know what industry want from us and they teach us.
