It's a beautiful college

Apart from the humid condition of India there's not really any negetive remarks one can make about the college. But if one is willing study and live peacefully, it is indeed a nice place to be. Some people may face a problem with travel, because there's not really a direct train to every place, but howrah is nearby station from where one can get to haldia by bus or train.

Curriculum is vast and enriched with lots of different subjects. In total of 8 semester we take many different subjects and it can be both optional or pre-selected. For our exam structure in every semester we had to take 4 class evaluation test and end semester examination. It's total of 100 marks exam for each subject. While 30 numbers of the total we have to obtain from class evaluation tests and rest 70 from end sem. exams.

Any student with decent grades and good approach and aptitude can get good placement from our college. This year our final year students got good packages in respected companies, providing them opportunity to upgrade their post for later, and also our training and placement cell puts it's 100% effort to make sure all of us are fully prepared for our job search.

From cultural meets to tecnological innovation fair, from blood donation to teaching poor orphan children, each student take their part with utmost sincerity. We personally believe it's not only the academics that makes us a student rather we must Excel in every aspect of our life

For students, of general background per semester wise fee is around about 28,000 inr, which relatively affordable in today's situation. And even if a student must take the accommodation of hostel, it's still is pretty much affordable.

For students with weak economic background, loans and scholarship programmes are prescribed by our students' welfare council. Also there are various govt. project where a student of good merit can get good scholarship easily.

Labs are well equipped and clean. Lab classes are held regularly with proper guidance. Major sports like cricket and football tournament between different trades are held in every semester, making sure everyone takes part in something, apart from these there are indoor sport activities and gym for students with free of cost.

Since I myself have opted for hostel, i can assure hostels are well maintained and clean, with electricity for all hours. Hotels are additional 12,000 inr to the fee per semester. Although it excludes the fooding expenses, although one can easily have food in hostel canteens for most minimal prices. Food are of good quality and there is often celebration meals at the weekends. Bedding and cots are provided by the college. So it's real convenient if one choose to stay at hotel.

Senior and alumni are nice, and we get to meet and interact with them, in various social events an or in general. If it's any suggestions regarding academics or personal life they are more than happy to help.

After passing my diploma in civil engineering I had to take an exam JELET. And there after i took admission here according to my rank in the entrance exam. We have to appear for our councelling process in Kolkata, Gitanjali stadium. We were held in line accordingly to our rank obtained. And then when we reached to admission desk, we were asked for our choice of college from them available list, so i choose this college as it is relatively affordable and nice.

Faculty here is nice. They are pleasent and kind to us in every possible. We can go to them and look for help almost any time. Along with providing the syllabus at time, to provide extra tution classes they put every possible effort.
