Remarks
Our college do have improved a lot when I was studying there. New CCTV cameras was installed to monitor. Just a small suggestion our cllg should make sure that the students get time to prepare for their exams and for that the college should finish their syllabus in time
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college have departments in commerce and arts. My college is under Calcutta University so it follows Calcutta University guidelines. We use to have a mid term exam at the middle of a year and a final exam at the end of one year. Mis term exam is of 50 marks and final exam is of 100 marks.
Placement Experience
We do have College campusing in our college. Various MNC comes in our College for hiring. Infact I got a job in one of the companies during the college campusing. Internship can also be done. Is someone goes to a CA firm or goes for a CMA.
College Events
Blood donation camp, Freshers welcome, Fest, Cricket tournament, Teachers Day, Rabindra Jayanti, Gandhi Jayanti. In all these events there are Hugh participats. Participants also include teaching and bon teaching staffs as well. Students do take part as an active members in these events. It is celebrated with a lot of joy and enjoyment
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure of our college is easily feasible. It is easily affordable for any person. And moreover if any student do get a stripen then it will become more affordable for them. Our college do not take any extra money for anything.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college offers a scholarship called Kanyashri which is given by the Government of West Bengal. But I have not opted for any scholarships. Central government scholarships are there which can also be claimed.
Campus Life
Yes, there are extracurricular activities going on in the college all most all throughout the year. Yes, there are labs also for the geography dept. Our college do take an active part in the sports. Cricket is one of those sports.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are helpful. The seniors do look into students problem and make sure that they do not face it again. It is also same for the alumini. They also takes a hugh step in making sure that all students can study peacefully
Admission
I filled up the admission form online during the admission procedure. Then the merit list came out. My name was there in the second merit list. Then I was called for councilling. I went to my college for the very first time. I went with all my documents. And then the management of our college called my name. I went up to them and they checked all my documents in original and asked for some photocopies. I produced all of them. Then they told me to go and submit the admission fees in the bank. The bank was Indian Overseas Bank. I went and deposited the fees. And the next day I got admission in my college. And few days later I started with my college days.
Faculty
Faculty is very good of our college. Just a small suggestions. The faculty must be a little more serious to complete the syllabus in time. So they the students can get enough time so that they can prepare for their exams
