Excellent for placements but attendance is mandatory.

PCCOE is well known for placements & Training provided for placements. Academic result is very good. Many facilities are provided by college. There are many places to hang out near Lonavala. One can go to Lonavala by local in 30 mins. But attendance is mandatory. Infrastructure is comparatively small. It has a limited menu canteen.

Course curriculum is very interesting if you are interesting in course. The best part about Entc is you get chance to learn both hardware & software. There are lots of circuit diagrams of various electronic devices. These circuit diagrams are just various applications of electronic devices such as ICs. There are many block diagrams such as transmitter & receiver in communication part of curriculum. Your logic ability & coding skills should be clear to better know the course. However PCCOE is on the way of autonomy so it has been included the system through which students can directly download the study material provided by faculties from website using college's Wi-Fi. Exam structure is divided in 2 semesters per year of course. Each semester contains 1online exam & 1theory exam in 1st & 2nd year. In 3rd & 4th year, instead of online exam there is one theory Insem exam & 1final theory exam. Online exam is of 50 marks & Insem exam is of 30 marks. Theory exam is of 50 marks in 1st & 2nd year while in 3rd & 4th year theory exam is of 70 marks according to SPPU pattern 2015. From 2nd year onwards there are also practical & oral exams of 50 marks. For pass in exams you have to score minimum of 40 marks in theory + online exam out of which 20 marks must be scored in theory exam. This is for 1st & 2nd year. For 3rd & 4th year you have to score total 40 marks in theory + Insem exam out of which minimum of 28 marks must be scored in theory exam.

PCCOE is well known for placements. You can easily appear for placement drive if you have minimum 60% aggregate in academics. Placement rate in PCCOE have been increased to almost 80% this year. Within just 4 months 640 students from all branches of PCET have been offered the job of minimum package of 3.5 LPA. This year various companies such as KPIT have recruited 60+ students. Capgemini has recruited 187 students with the package of 3.8 LPA & 20 students with package of 6.8 LPA. Accenture has recruited 50+ students. Other companies such as Persistent, Quantifier have offered package of 9.5 LPA. Almost 45% students of ENTC have placed in core companies.

One of the grand event celebrated in PCCOE is SWARTARANG. It is annual gathering having various gaming & food stalls at morning & gathering at evening. SPECTRUM is event containing both technical & non technical events such as brain dasher, robot competition, treasure hunt,etc. Robovr is robotic event. Anantya is coding event having various comp. engg. events. ICCUBEA is international conference held at PCCOE every year. Discussion in the event is basically on current trends in industry & research papers. There is a event on drone competition in which students from all colleges make drone & compete them.

Fee structure is according to SPPU & caste. It is 95,000 for OPEN category. 54,000 for OBC students. 11,000 for SBC/VJ/NT/ST students. 2000 for SC students. 26,000 for GOI/J&K students. While you have to pay 11,000 if you are allotted through TFWS (Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme).

There is government scholarship named Maha-dbt. College offers Earn & Learn scheme in which students get paid for their work. College also give information about various private scholarships such as Cummins.

Laboratories are well furnitured & sufficiently large having good light. Experimental kits in laboratory are updated. Equipments in laboratory are in good conditions. All PCs in laboratory are provided with college Wi-Fi. College has good infrastructure containing 2 CC(computer Centres), one big reading hall provided with Wi-Fi, 2 libraries & a Innovation Center. There are lots of sport activities held in the college. There are various cells through which students do extracurricular activities. Art circle cell provides platform for dancing, singing, acting ,etc. Students in NSS (National Service Scheme) & ISR (Institute's Social Responsibility) cell perform social activities. R&D (Research & Development) cell encourage students in research field. There are 5 PCCOE motorsports.

Hostel fee is 42,000. Hostel rooms are sufficiently large to accommodate 3 students. Each floor is provided with Wi-Fi. Room cleaning is done on 1day per week. Hot water from solar panel is available whole year.

Alumni & seniors are very helpful. Aluminium arrange various workshops on current trends in industries. Hand-On workshops are also been arranged by alumni. Seniors guide us about aptitude exam & interviews in placements. Seniors provide us study material as well as guide us about practical & oral exams.

I got admission through MAH-CET exam. Firstly, I applied for engineering at nearby CAP center. There are 3 CAP rounds through which we can take admission. I filled the engineering form in which I filled the names of various engineering colleges in Maharashtra. I allotted the seat in PCCOE in 1st CAP round. If one is not satisfied with allotted college, he/she can applied for 2nd CAP round by choosing Float option. Further one can apply for 3rd CAP round. While 4th CAP round is for government colleges only. After I confirmed to take admission in PCCOE , I have to go to PCCOE. I gave one aptitude exam & filled the allotment form there. Aptitude exam is only for evaluation of students.

Faculties in PCCOE are well qualified however if I have to rate them out of 5 , I will rate as 3.5. Most of the faculties in college have completed their PhDs or either Persuing their PhDs. Some teachers have published their research paper. They ensure quality education along with practical knowledge. Facilities also guide about current educational as well as industrial trends. Faculties regularly upload the necessary study material on the website through which students can download them easily using college Wi-Fi. Study material given by them is very useful during theory exams. However faculties are strict about attendance of students in regular class as well as in laboratory.
