College

The only negative is that the college is around only 60 acres. Our main competitor CET is like 10 times bigger than our college. But still our college maintains to keep up in the top 10 colleges in kerala.

The course curriculam is really outdated. It has been followed years back. Now the new batches have a different curriculam we have no knowledge of. It is said to be better than ours. The exam structure is same for all. First we have college level series exams. This mark is taken into account for eligibility for final semester exam.

Almost 10 - 12 companies come to our college for placement drives every year. Infosys,qburst,quest. Almost 45 out of 60 from every batch is placed every year. Rest go for further education here or abroad for better degree.

The main events are sargam and aagneya.sargam is a cultural event for the students at the college and aagneya is a techno cultural event for students from all around kerala. Aaagneya takes place around march april.

The fee structure is very very low. As it is a government college it very low. Economically and socially backward students dont have to pay fees. The basic fee is Rs 7500. Which is very low compared to the private colleges.

There is scholarship for students of backward society or economy. They dont have to pay fees. They get stipent every year according to their attendance. Which is very useful for them. The government provide all the basic needs for the studnets.

All the extra curricular activities like sports and arts are well maintained and uplifted. All the students get to showcase their skills and creativity. All the stages and opportunity for them are provided by the college itself.

There is only hostel for girls. No mens hostel. The food is great and accomodation too. Twice every month they have feast. Providing very big and exquisite dining experience. The hostel fees is just Rs 1000.

The alumni is very helpfull. We can contact them at any time for any help. They have been providing a graet deal of help during our college technical fests and other needs.we have a wide network of alumni around the globe in many fields of expertice.

First we write an entrance exam. Which along with the 12th marks are taken together and a rank is given. According to this rank we get Designated college through allotment. This takes place in various stages and we can apply change of college.

The faculty is really great. All of them are really helpful and top notch in knowledge. They many years of experince in this field from different colleges. They get transfered every 4 years or something.
