Over all college is very happening. College life is as its best.You have to be focused at studying at every day some programs or event is going on in college. Rest all is good. Noting much negative.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college is autonomous. So it has its own revised syllabus. Previously it was under WBUT of west Bengal. But after being autonomy syllabus has much more improved. Exams are done well. 2 internals and 1 semester exam held in a semester.
Placement Experience
Campus placement for CSE IT students are almost 100 percent. Few student goes for masters and others for mba and rest others are well placed with average package of 3.5 lacs. This year. On College internship are provided in our college. This year amazon took 5 students from cse department. though many students gets intern by internsala and LinkedIn.
College Events
Fresh face - It is organised for freshers every year to give a stage to showcase their talent Freshers - Departmental freshers are organised in the month of February. Fest - Best fest of Kolkata is held every year in our college named Eclecia.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is very feasible if we compare from many colleges. Around 40000—45000 every semester for tuetion fee(included extra fees). 75k during admission including first semester fee.Exam fees are taken each semester 1500 except these fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Semester fees are not taken from poor students residential of West bengal. No loan are provided by college as far as i know though many students from my class opted for loan provided by bihar government.
Campus Life
Every labs are there mentioned in the syllabus and 4 libraries are made. 3 play grounds. 1 common for indore games. Swimming pool a d a cricket net. Many extra curricular like Dance and singing are done in the sv auditorium.
Hostel Facilities
On campus hostels are provided for girls and nearby private hostels are there for boys. And hostels are available at a very cheap rate under 6k you Will get a 2 bedded room including mess charges. Free wifi +electricity +water.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. They are very helpful. You can contact them on social platforms like Facebook WhatsApp or LinkedIn. You can get referral for internships or jobs from them if you are good at coding or required field.
Admission
I had given WBJEE exam which is conducted in West Bengal. Outsiders can also give this exam. In may exam was held. And after publication of result in June,i got 5990 rank and got admission in Heritage institute of technology in IT branch.
Faculty
Faculties are very knowledgeable and most of them are masters from Jadavpur University. They are having a quite well degree and teaching methods of some teachers are exceptional. Extra times are also given if any students find difficulty in any subjects.
