My college is very good in context of exposure, infrastructure, campus recruitment (only in IT sector). But it falls way below in teaching standards, teacher student relationship, project work, research work, handling students & there needs Very expensive
Entrance Preview
I gave KIITEE. I scored an all India rank of about 10000 & state rank was 1356. I opted for this college and the branch primarily because my parents forced me to do so. Secondly I thought that this college gives good recruitment & gives exposure to students.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is the worst college not just of India but of the world. Faculties are least interested about students understanding the concepts & are very non co-operative. The course structure is pathetic as in they have optional subjects in final semesters but you cannot choose anything of your own as there are no faculties to teach them
Internships Opportunities
College does not provide stipend. It provides stipend for post graduates who have qualified GATE, then they r eligible for teaching and being lab assistant
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are good for IT students because most students are selected by IT companies like TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc. Their are very less core companies that came in our year some of them like SPCL, Sterling & Wilson,Tata Steels etc. Most core companies selected few & most of the students including core branches were selected in IT companies
College Events
Technical fest is Kritansh prize money worth 25 lacs, Kentfest etc. Event are huge and are funded hugely by sponsors and the college itself. Famous personalities & singers are invited to perform.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very expensive Not affordable for a middle class family. The course fee that this college demand & the quality of education that it provides are bizarre. fee structure during my year was 1 lac 90 k but now its even more. Plus add the semester registration fee 8000 rupees for 8 semesters. I was a day scholar.
Fees and Financial Aid
All the toppers of each branch were waived of there course fee by about 40 % in the 1st year. After that all the toppers after second year were given scholarship of about 10k .
Campus Life
Infrastructure is very good. Gender ratio is nearly equal. The college environment is nice. Proximity to all necessary places like shops, medicals are near. Their is no disregards for any religion, race or anything. Students though being from different states of India do not have any ill feeling for any one. Their are a lot of co-curricular activities in the campus.I was personally an active member of the robotics society
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are helpful but this college does not give the kind of respect & warmth for its passed out students. Very sad
