Course Curriculum Overview

Exam structure and course curriculum is per the university KTU.we have mainly 2 internal exams and lab exams followed by the semester examination. With a good effort every student can pass the examinations.

Placement Experience

Good placement opportunities are provided by the college. Most of them are from top MNC or companies, college provides a very good possiblity for all the stidentsvto achieve their goals. The placement opportunity.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans and scholarships are easily available and the college helps studenta to attain then quickly.

Campus Life

Good lab provide us a good place to study more than the textbooks and the college also provide a good job opportunity to develop one sports care edt.

Admission

Got admission by management quota.Given by the college.The college made a list of students in a list and calls the students according to the list.There is also merit quota by the government.The college provides a very friendly environment.

Faculty

Very good loving and friendly. They are also highly qualified.most teachers gives us a good environment to study and proceed to a good career. They also provide a better study plan to help students.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

There was cut off for the admisiion process i think the cut off was around 45000 in the keam rank. Based on the rank you will get a seat in the merit. There are several scholarship for the students who all are financially not stable...Read More
