The College is in the average mid tier segment engineering College. It is also there in the NIRF ranking for the best 100 engineering College of India. Thus giving a good exposure to the students of the College
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is personally made by the College administration in accordance with the WBUT University, but the College is autonomous so two internals are taken then there is lab exam which is followed by semester exam
Placement Experience
The job opportunity is about 60%, but if you are in good branch then there is great opportunity of job placement. The College provides internship in the 7th sem to every student according to their CGPA.
College Events
There are many events organised in the College. The College has different clubs for events. An annual fest takes place every year in the month of April. Along with a sports week in March and different events all round the year
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is around 40000 rupee for every semester which is feasible along with around 10000 for fooding and lodging. So that is not much expensive in my idea and many students can easily afford that.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes freeship along with good scholarship are provided to students plus there are banks which provide loan against the College admission paper. So it is easy to get loan if needed for the study or if you are a good student u can get a freeship.
Campus Life
The labs are in good condition with sufficient equipment for the experiment and talking about sports there are 2-3 fields in the College along with a basketball court a tennis court and a football ground.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel in the College campus but there are many private hostel near the College which provide fooding and lodging to the students but it is tough for the students to commute to the College from there so the hostel infrastructure is around 7 and the facilities are decent
Alumni/Alumna
Yes there are many senior and alumni at different post of many companies, those will help you in making contacts and jobs in different MNCs across the country and with every passing year the alumni network is getting stronger.
Admission
Counselling through wbjee rank, at first appear for wbjee then if u get a rank till 8000 you will get a chance to get admitted to some good stream like cse, ece, it. Then u can apply till 3rd step counselling.
Faculty
The College faculty is decent as every department has have their own faculty of more than 30 each. So the faculty base is very good with great experience in their own field, every faculty member has PhD in different fields
