Good in terms of placements and Sports

The overall experience of college is nice. The crowd here is very active in all activities. Lot of competition and groups are there which carry out number of activities throughout the year. Staff is not the best but helpful. Attendance is slightly strict. One need to maintain 75 percent.

I took admission in Electronics and telecommunication branch. In first year subjects are common and from second year core subjects are there. I feel it is hard to score in core subject. Need thorough understanding of concepts. Exams are taken by Mumbai University. In first and last year paper got checked by University. Semester based pattern. Two internal assessments. If you fail in that it will be considered as KT and need to repeat in next semester.

Placement opportunities are best for IT and CSE. Tough to get core jobs for extc and mech as very less companies come in college. Tpo take lot of efforts to make sure everyone get placed. Placement policies are framed in such manner that everyone get sufficient opportunities.

Collosseum is tech festival and hysteria is a cultural festival celebrated every year. Onam celebration is also there. Department day is also an interesting day for every department. Also there days like mis match day , group day, twins day , cultural day are celebrated

Fees are like normal Mumbai University colleges. Ranges from 100000 to 120000 depending upon the year. Tfws quota is there. Also are different for OBC SC/ST/NT. I feel that fees are not expensive as there are lot of facilities are provided

I got admission through Tution fee waiver scheme in which you get admission based on separate merit list. Also economically weaker section quota is also there. Also if you are TFWS student there is group under guidance of principle where you will get help of books, stay, food and other things which are important for education like laptop.

Dbit has been very encouraging towards sports. It has a week maintained football ground. It also has a box cricket space and volleyball space. Also it has basketball court where mostly students play football. Different sports championships like Don Bosco premier league , Don Bosco cricket league and other sports event during cultural festival and department festival.

Yes, there is special forums , talks where you will get to meet them , talk with them. Sometimes special lectures are arranged for interaction. They will be called for various tech events where you will get a lot to learn.

After 12th board, I gave CET exam which is common for Maharashtra Colleges. Then once results were out, I filled a form on DTE website for admission. There were 3 online lists and 4th one was offline. I got DBIT in 1st list. There were other options like freeze, float. I choosed freezed so admission got confirm. And then I went to the college fill the necessary forms. Fees were collected once every list got over and after final count.

In extc some teachers are very good , helpful and knowledgeable. They will help you in projects if you want. Many groups are there where you will get to work with them. Even during final year projects you will get chance to work with different eminent institutions based on your project.
