The campus is slightly small in size but it is well maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is focused on all-round development which consists of make the base of business, accountancy and computers strong. After which, a more advanced curriculum is introduced. Each semester, the course gets more advanced while revising the base.

Various companies visit the campus. Some esteemed organisations such as RBS and Godrej. They offer packages of Rs. 25000 per month or better.

College Events

There are offstage and onstage events. Offstage events include extemporary, rangoli painting, face painting, just a minute, poster making. Onstage include group dance, solo dance, singing, music instruments. There is an annual sports day as well which many students look forward to.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible if you take into consideration the infrastructure and the faculty that this college has. They also provide a common room for students to be in when they have free periods. Girls have a different common room and boys have a different one.

I haven't opted for any scholarship but they do offer various programmes for underprivileged students.

Campus Life is extremely comfortable in the sense they make sure you have enough amenities and at the same time, they make you participate in various areas of your liking or interest. Various guests lectures are arranged for students and the guest lecturers consisting of various entrepreneurs and alumni.

Senior students try to help in whatever situation that they can as they have gone through the same process and the same classes.

Admission

Took the entrance and got my documents verified properly. After which the final verification of all documents concerned was done. The admission process takes about 3 days since they make sure that the documents are real and not doctored. It is a pure online process.

Faculty

Faculty is well versed with their subject and what to teach the students and when to teach it to them. It is also made sure that the students have fully understood the topic at hand, and if anything is unclear, it is explained in a simpler and easier way.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. I converted a lot of B-schools but around the time of admission I struggled with a few medical reasons and the fact that most of the B-schools were very expensive. The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
