JIMS kalkaji is a good platform to showcase your skills.

Course Curriculum Overview

Every faculty provide proper notes and presentations to make the concepts more clear. Every semester ever subject is assigned with 15 marks as internal paper, 5 marks for attendance, 5 marks for assignments (15+5+5=25 marks as an internal assignment) and 75 marks for the external exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

College gives placement facilities, many good and known companies come to the institution to provide placements to the students of the third year.

College Events

College is growing both academically as well as culturally. In set of 1 year, many events are celebrated some of them are fresher's party, inter jims both on stage and off stage event- zest and dandiya, start night, anugoonj , marathon , an entrepreneurial week etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fee which an individual summit to the institution, includes the tuition fee, guest lecture amount, industrial visit amount and other mislanious expenses. College provided the set of books as well the amount for the same is excluded the total fee, one needs to pay that amount once in the course of 3 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any scholarship till now, so I can't say anything regarding the same. Well yes, the college provides scholarship opportunities.

Campus Life

The size of the campus is not yah big but the quality of education which the institution is delivering is really good, they are properly managed computer labs in total 4 computer labs for students going graduation. Library also has a good collection of academic books.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is strong as the alumni keep on coming to the college for presenting the guest lectures and also yearly alumni meet is organized.

Admission

First I registered myself and sat for ip entrance test one I got my rank I choose the institution for which I want to apply for, a rank wise college selection is generated by the ip university and by the university only we'll get the college as per our priority.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very friendly and hardworking. They provide proper notes and presentations for better learning also case studies are also discussed in order to make the learning interesting. Every faculty has his/her own expertise in their respective field.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. I converted a lot of B-schools but around the time of admission I struggled with a few medical reasons and the fact that most of the B-schools were very expensive. Truth about jims kalkaji

The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
