It provides a great atmosphere for both learning and extra curricular activities. Has a good placement record with offers from some well known companies. Great faculty ready to help you out anytime. It could improve it’s infrastructure though.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is overall outdated and to be honest very disappointing. There is nothing in the syllabi that will help you in your future job. The scope of the syllabus is outdated information. When we enter our jobs we might feel a bit overwhelmed.
Placement Experience
As far as the placements are concerned, the college does boast a decent placement records. The college doesn’t exactly provide internships but we do have “Job Fests”. We also have offers from some reputed companies.
College Events
The major extra curricular activities revolve around our college fest Cult A Way. We also conduct cricket and football tournaments for the sports enthusiasts. We also have a literary club, where you can improve your vocal and writing skills
Fee Structure And Facilities
As far as the fee structure goes, it is divided into two, the government seats and management seats. The government seats are around 35,000 per year and the management seats cost around 65000. But this is cheaper compared to the privately operated colleges
Fees and Financial Aid
The CBSE board gives you an annual scholarship of Rs 10,000 provided you do relatively well in your plus two exams. I believe there are other ways to get scholarships although Im not entirely sure of them.
Campus Life
About the extra curricular activities, we hold an annual technical and cultural festival called Cult A Way, which is well known and celebrated. As far as the labs and equipment are concerned we are moderately equipped.
Alumni/Alumna
Very helpful group of alumni. We have a social media group where our alumni who are in respectable positions, can communicate with the students and the teachers, provide guidance and help with the job hunts.
Admission
Getting admission here follows exactly the process as any other institution under the kerala university. You have to first write the entrance exam. Getting a good rank, say arround 9000 can get you atleast a management seat, the government seats are of course much more in demand.
Faculty
The faculty are very experienced and do a good job. They are quite helpful with your final year projects and seminars. They motivate you and are ready to repeat something that haven’t understood. They also help you present yourself in the presence of a potential recruiter.
