My College Info

The Terna Engineering Colleges is very good in academic wise. College have very good teaching staff. The teacher are very supportive. College have very good placement cell. Which is very concerned about students. The college is very good for those who want to make their careers bright and successful.

As I studied in this college, it strictly follow the mumbai university syllabus and curriculum. The planning of the course curriculum is well organized. And they strictly follow the curriculum. There are two sem conduncted per year as per mumbai university rule. in each sem two unit test are conducted.

As the college does not help more about the intership. Although they provide internship but the frequency or availability of seates is very less. But the college is very good about the placement. As I am the final year student, and already got placed in the good company before the 7th sem. So the placement in the college is very good.

Our college celebrate many technical and non technical events in college. There are many committees are formed to take care of the specific type of event. Such as 'Antarang' is a committee is formed for taking care of non technical events such as dance, theater play, various games, etc. 'Avalon' is a committee form for tge technical events such as organizing workshops for students, organizing various competition, etc.

The college follow caste wise rule to set the fees for the students. For the general category students the fee for one year is around 1 lakh. And for the caste student it is very less as compared to general category student which is around 15k to 20k. Therefore the general caste student it is quite expensive.

Though college fee structure is quite expensive for the middle class students. College provide few of the scholarship to the students under the government of maharashtra and Mumbai University. Few for the scholarship such as Economic Backward Class i.e. EBC and other scholarship for caste sthdents.

Terna Engineering college have many labs for each department. As Im from Information Technology department we have almost every have which we need to complete our education in practically. Every year in the college fest, college organised various sports which are played amongst every department. There are also solo games available such as carrom, chess, table tennis, etc.

Although I not lived in hostel, my home is nearer from the college. But the hostel infrastructure is not much great. Both girls and boys hostel is available in Terna Engineering College. It have only one canteen in it, which is crowded almost all the time. Hostel have all the facilities which are required for the student.

Terna Engineering College also has the alumni committee, where every year graduated students are still in the contact with the college. College organised a get together where senior student come and meet each other.

I passed my 12th board exams with good marks and then I appear for Common Enterance Test i.e. CET exam, where I get enough good marks. The college give admission to students on basis of merit list. To the students which have good academic marks. Thus I get admission in this college on the basis on merit list.

The faculty in the college are well educated and with good teaching skill. They have very pleasant nature and always behave nice with students. When students need any help from the teacher, teacher will always say yes to students. On the other hand teacher are very strict about the education and discipline.
