Course Curriculum Overview
There are many streams. Electrical, Mechanical,Civil,ECE,CS,IT,Food Technology, Biotechnology, MBA and BBA. The engineering courses take 4 years or 8 semester to get BTech degree. College has a big library,gym,cafeteria, hostels, play grounds and many more
Placement Experience
Yes, there are so many opportunities of internship even from first year.CS,IT,ECE department placement is very good, near about 90%. The placement of core departments is average. Many students crack GATE, GRE for higher education every year
College Events
The Tech Fest program is PRAYUKTI and the college fest is RIVERA.the two are the big program.But except that there are also many programs organised by the college.In PRAYUKTI students have to make science and technology models and there is a competition.there are also football tournament, cricket tournament and basketball tournament.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible.It takes 320000/- in total for completing the BTech.first year sem with admission fee is 77000 and next sem it will become 52000 (with hostels). The hostel fee is 12000 for 6 months.And if you are in TFW category your fees will become half.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provide scholarship if you scored well. Except that if you are a student of West Bengal Board then you will get Bikash Bhavan Scholarship if you scored 75% in board exam. And you will get a one time money for completing BTech
Campus Life
We have to do laboratory experiments for chemistry, electronics, physics , mechanical workshops as per syllabus.very good infrastructure.college have a basketball ball ground and two big grounds for football and cricket. College area is 36 acres so you will find many void space to play games. And there are a Hall named Anandam for indoor sports.
Hostel Facilities
The rate of the hostel is12000 for 6 months or 2000 for one month. Every hostel have canteen and it will provide lunch dinner breakfast and evening tiffin. Every hostel capacity is near about 300 students.
Alumni/Alumna
Students and Alumni are very helpful to juniors. They are involved with many non profitable NGOs.The main two organisations is NEEDS & SAMARPAN.The help the orphan kids for there food and education.From the organisations they post journals also.
Admission
At first you have to sit on WBJEE exam.After getting merit rank you have to go to official website of WBJEEB.Then you have to choose the colleges and branches according to your choice column wise good to bad.You will get the college and branch as per your merit rank and cut off of the college.it will happen in 3 round.If you doesn't like the first round choice u can flow the counseling for the next round or if you like then lock your choice and go to the college for admission
Faculty
Faculties are very good. The teaches us carefully, and they all have higher degrees. Every department has individual HOD. The Director and Principal are also very helpful. The placement of the college is average 73%
