Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is very good. Exam are held in four parts, which are test 1, test 2, mid semester and end semester. Test 1 and 2 has 20% weightage and mid sem has 30% weightage and end sem has 50% weightage.
Placement Experience
Placement are very good, there comes more than 70 companies for job interview and internships ,and there main focus is on your talent. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur have received more than 500 summer internship offers in the last three months. Compared to 2018, the number of summer internships this year is higher. The internship process, which started in August 2019, has been soaring high as compared to last year’s figure which was comparatively lower with the closing figure at 461.
College Events
There are a lot of events happening within the year. There are a lot of inter hall events of sports, socult and technology, all halls fight for gold and try their best to get gold, It's one the most popular event of iit kgp.
Campus Life

Admission
By giving JEE adv. Exam and if you score a rank under 10,000 then you can get into this IIT , but if you need a upper branch then you need to score a better rank which is under 2000 , but if you are in SC or ST category then process becomes somehow easy.
Faculty
