Remarks
A negative remark about the college would be its rules. It s still strict out there. Students find themselves in jail like situations quite often than not. They arent allowed to leave the campues after 9 till 4 30. Girls students hve to enter the hostel bt 5 or are reported to the principal.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has been to hard on the student. Most of the students are under a lot of stress. A semester usually lasts for 3 to 4 months and has 6 main subjects followed by 2 or 3 labs. The exam structure has two parts internal and external.internal is out of 50 and external is a final exam of 100 marks a student needs 22.5 and 45 marks respectivelt to progress.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities in our collegesare limited. With unemployment rate at its peak in our country very few are often placed in companies. The electronics and computer science department find it easier among the lot to find jobs.
College Events
Our college mainly celebrates three main events the annual technical fest nautilus the annual arts fest arangu and onam celebrations there are also other small festivals such as holi christmas etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college is an autonomous institution but the feess structure has been expensive. A lot of students on reservations find it easier since their fess are waved off from the fess paid by the general category students overall a general category for the completion of the course for 4 years has to pay around 6 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The goods scholarship facilities that the college provides are for thoose student who score above 9 cpga a fee waiver also thoose students under 10k rank have fees exemption from buss fees and tuition fees.
Campus Life
The extra curricular activites are terrible the colllege has grounds for it but never alots a time for students to play to. The labs are of good quality and the machines used there are also of very high standards.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students have been a pilllar of supoort they help us in our projects and startups their guidance has been invaluable. They visit our colllege quite often and help us in various activities.
Admission
After my 12th i had to write the kerela entrance exam. After the results we were admitted upon merit basis on the colleges which we apted for.The selection process was simple it was based on first cum first serve purpose based on the entrance rank.
Faculty
The faculty of our college have been very reliable and understanding. They look after our needs and help us in collective progression. They also help us in startups and innovative projects. They methodology of teaching is also fun.
