KIIT is regarded as one of the most prestigious college in India and it is arguably the best private college in East India. We had to qualify KIITEE to get admission into this renowned university.Top rankers were chosen for admission into the university. My rank was 3230 and i was eligible for admission into any of the engineering branches.Our college has been offering lots of courses like b.tech,b.a llb, mbbs and b.d.s but KIIT is highly recognised for its wide range of engineering courses and so we choose it.KIIT scores high in terms of placement,infrastructure and faculty staff so we decided to choose this college

The course structure is well designed to help the students to focus both on theoretical and practical knowledge. The college also has a research wing which guides the students who are interested to do further studies.It also offers project opportunities for students to promote overall development of a student

The college gives chances for internship opportunities to its students who are in 3rd year.There are other societies in the college as well like E-cell and Aisec which sets up internship fir the students.The quality of internship is good with companies like TVS and TECH MAHINDRA offering internships to the deserving students. Though I have not gone through the internship but I have heard that overall experience is good and stipend offered is reasonable

The placement is one of the high points of our university with nearly 95% of the total students getting placed across various companies throughout day zero, one and two.The university produced 2500 job opportunities this year during day one with lots of students bagging more than a single job offer.The companies which visit our university across day zero, day one and day two are delloite, Accenture, Infosys, wipro, shaporji palonji, bosch, etc to a name a few.The highest package offered was 23 lacs this year by a chinese multinational and the average package being 3.8 to 4 lacs

The college has its annual fest celebrated every year in which big names like Salim suleiman, dj nucleya and Karan oberoi added glitz and glamour. The fest collaborated with the world famous music festival sunburn and it became trending on Facebook. Moreover KIIT MUN which takes place every year in October November is Asia's 2nd largest MUN and celebrities like Rajat Sharma, Kiran Bedi and Vir Das attend it as guest lecturers and jury.Our college keep hosting promotional events and technical, cultural and management conferences throughout the year.Moreover different schools of engineering and other schools like law and medical and mba have their own fests.

The fee structure is on the expensive side but is comparable to other top private engineering colleges of India. The semester fees is 1,10,000 and including the hostel and mess fees it becomes 1.5 lacs per semester for b.tech.Other courses have different fee structure which is quite comparable to other top private institutions of the country

The college has loan facilities which can be availed from various banks spread across the college campus.The college also has a scholarship program for under privileged students which can be availed by qualifying the scholarship exam

The campus life is very cool and friendly in our college.The gender ratio is about 50:50 in the college. Though the warden are strict on dorm parties but it can be pulled off with little care.Various workshops competitions and national events in the field of sports and academics are organised in our college The college lays special stress on extra curricular activities.The diversity in the college is itself an example of strong mindset and widened thinking of the people with college accepting students from countries like Afghanistan, Nigeria, Nepal, Bhutan, etc.Festivals of all culture and religion are celebrated in the campus with great enthusiasm and spirit.The college promotes friendly relation between junior and seniors by organising a grand freshers party.The college is a perfect example of a secular organisation with students ranging from different backgrounds and culture

The alumni meets are held every year and the passed out students and seniors have very good terms with the college faculty and juniors. Our seniors guide us about shaping our career and answer our doubts about the placement procedures and interviews. They have been very helpful throughout

There are two exams in each semester. Mid sem for 25 marks and end sem for 60 marks. Rest of the marks are in the hands of the faculty. The examination are strict with no opportunity for unfair means and misconduct the question paper is of mediocre level
