Remarks
I studied in some colleges in Kerala. But I felt the real vibe of college from here. I am so lucky to get chance for study here. Most of the students are from Malabar of kerala and they wish to play football very well. Absence of a good seperate ground for playing football in college is a negative my self. Major part if students are living outside of hostel. It causes somany problems in college and affecting the prestige of college. Need a large mens hostel for students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Kalam Technical University provides us outcome based curriculum by 8 semesters and 4 Years. Exams are scheduled for each semester. A advanced syllables is implimenting here. There some fix needed for exam valuation too. Result percentage of first batch is poor but our is highest and odd one among the result.
Placement Experience
The placement cell in college is well active. Comparatively Computer Dept has the highest placement feedback from here. It's clear that from the rank need for that department. College Engineering Trivandrum is not providing any internship. It will be good helpfull if started.
College Events
Apart from special occassions like Onam, Holi, Diwali and christmas, we have Dristi, Disha, Dwani. Drishti conducted by first years and a lot of programms are packed in it to prove or show their extra curriculam activities. Disha is a famous tech fest in Kerala, conducted by every department them self. It could enhance their skills in the field of engineering they chosen.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible beacause of It's a Government Engineering college. But 95% of students were outside the district like me. So little expensive for those students. Government scholarships were awarded for apting students.
Fees and Financial Aid
E grantz.This is the scholarship that every student can apply and claim. Iam applied for that and hope I can claim it. This scholarship can attenuate the fees of each semester. Alumni of our college also provides good scholarships for 1st years only.
Campus Life
There is a good result in every extra curriculam activities. Every team of college in Games, doing a better performance and similar for sports also. Extra curriculam activities of College Enineering Trivandrum (CET) is popular enough in India also in Social medias.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I have high facilties are provided in this college with low expenditure. Good food, tidy accomodation etc. Enough security , very near to College and physical training areas are provided. First Aids and a Ambulance is aslo provided.
Alumni/Alumna
A great Alumni we had. Famous persons in seperate feild of engineering. Talented Directors of Malayalam film Industry such fabulous Alumni network. I said above , Our Alumni provides us a good scholarship for First year students and they made some kind of memmorands such as Golden Walkway, Nepolian cap etc.
Admission
I am a Diploma holder from SSM Polytechnic College Tirur in Electrical Engineering and I got admission here by high rank (15) in lateral entry entrance examination. I am very Happy, lucky and proud enough to get chance to study those brand colleges.
Faculty
In one word, GOOD. Our college is a brand in Kerala Not only because of student's quality , but also by the faculty of our college. They will never put any student in a pressure cooker. I said it because of the news coming from the India's No.1 Engineering College. These all the reason behind every success of our college.
