GCOEARA: Heaven in odd place

All teaching faculties are helpful and encourages. But, the administration faculties are not that much good. They college working system is very poor. Also, the college location is very odd. Hence, lack of communication with other industries. Hence poor placement.

There are mid semester exams and end semester exams in each semester. There are total 8 semesters. All exams are conducted by the university. The mid semester exams are of 30 marks and end semester exams are of 70 marks. Most of times checking is done in very strict way.

As college is new one, so presently less placements. But, comp department has good stage. College personally doesnt provide the internship, but it has some tie-ups with various companies. The highest package for the computer department is 7LPA.

There are mainly 3 events will be there. Firstly, there is a technical event call ABINITIO. In this various technical competitions are held. Then there is a sports event call COMBAT. And lastly, there is gathering event called RESONACE. There are also some small events like street play during days like the independence and republic day.

For open students, there is RS. 24000 per year, for EBC students Rs. 16000 per year, for OBC cast students Rs. 5000, for NT, SC, ST cast students Rs. 162 fees is there. But, the cast students must fill the scholarship form during the course of each year.

Presently, there is no loan facility from the college. But, there is facility to work and earn for student. Although, we have many scholarship facilities from the tie up industries n from the university also.

There are various Technical event's team like go-kart (the F4 series racing cart events, min. 4 events participation per year), Baja (the off-road racing car event under society of automotive engineering), Tractor design (under society of automobile engineering) , Nation solar vehicle championship events, electric bike competitions, Abinitio (college technical event), TIFAN event also along with this ROBOCON international event participation also. We have received very good no. Of awards in all sections.

Yes, college hostel is of cheap price i.e. RS. 1000 per year. Also, the infrastructure is very good. The wash rooms are little bit damaged but regular cleanness is there. Also, the semester wise health check up is also done.

Seniors n alumni are most helpful n care-taking.They literally treat like their younger brother. Most of alumnus are still in contact. Truly, we have very great bonding. Also, the behaviour of seniors in campus is very good and they always encourages us in all sectors.

Firstly, we have to attempt paper for the MHT-CET and should score good marks. Then filling the state engineering form and after proper documents check, we can enter into CAP process. After ending of cap process, we have to finalise our admission process.

Almost all faculties are well experienced and well knowledge with the good skills. They are really helpful and caring. Also, they encourages us for various activities. Many of faculties are really strict for their academics.
