Course curriculum was really bad. But it's better now. Exam happens at the end of every semester. Supplememtary exams also occurs at the end of semester. We can complete the course easily. It's better than other universities. But the valuations are very bad.

Placement Experience

Yes. College does provides internships. And there occurs lots and lots of interviews. But it's not worth it. The companies are almost start up companies. No multi national companies come to our college.

College Events

In the light of events, our college is the best ever. There is arts, sports, league matches( includes volleyball, badminton, table tennis, Cricket, football, etc), hostel day (seperate for girls and boys, etc.

It is a Very simple process. First fill the application form, it could cost you rupees 500/-. Book your seat in which course u need. Then on the specific date, remit the first year fees at the college.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

MEA engineering college review

I choose this college because it near by my house and I always wanted go there . I applied for mea engineering college and computer science and I got the same college but different stream that is IT. Which is also good. They rejected because first I got a college in Kollam and rejected because it too far. And next allotment I got my second priority college. The admissions process actually nice. Not tireding first I apply for management seat then I got merit Quota.
