Remarks

Our college is best for placements, extracurricular activities, alumini network, and culture is very good. Coep is at 49 rank all over india. We have lots of alumini which are friendly and loving in nature.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is best in our college, coep is an autonomous college so syllabus is up to date and modern. We learn new things which are latest technology. Exam sturcture is 3 exams like test1, test 2 which is of 20 marks and 60 marks end sem test. Exams are practivak based exams.

Placement Experience

Placements are 100% for our department. And average salary is 8 lakh. We have huge opportunity for internship getting salary 1 lpa for two months. Genrally Financial companies come for internship in our college. Last year out of 180 students 120 got internship. Some students got pre placement offer from internship.

1. Zest - national level sports festival celebrate d in coep. 2. Impression - Large Cultural event celebrated in coep. 3. Regatta - one of the rearest event in India. 4. Mindspark - Techical festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I am OBC student and my fee is 44000 per year and it is feasible for me. Open fee - 98000. SC - 3000. Fee is fesible for me. Also students who are economically weak can get private as well as alumini scolarship up to 80000.

Students who are economically weak can get private as well as alumini scolarship up to 80000.Like Seimens, khattar, eaton, and various companies give scolarship based on interview process. Also SBI coep branch provides student loan services.

Campus Life

Coep have big ground for playing sports, Gym is available in hostel campus, There are different clubs present which are technical and non technical. Like Boat club, Swimming, Social club and technical clubs like Satellite club, Robot study circle.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I have opted for Hostel which is government. Rates are 30000 per year for all type of categories. Infrastructure is good but water service is not good. Less water is available instead of paying fee. Facilities provided are Gym, garden, hospital.

Alumni/Alumna

Sir vishweshwaraay mokhshgundam who is first engineer is alumini of our college. We have huge alumini network. Some are CEO of big companies. Vaibhav tatwavadi who is marathi and hindi film actor is our alumini.

Admission

I got admission in COEP by common entrance exam held by Maharashtra state MH-CET. I got 163 marks out of 200 and on the merit basis I got admission. I have choose IT branch because I have interest in coding.

Faculty

Some facility are best but some are very worst. They don't have any knowledge. They shouldn't be in COEP. Also they have lot of salary. We can't understand conceps from them. In each department atmost there are 2 faculties which are best.

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
