Remarks
This college lacks infrastructure and there is no playground. Sometimes it seems frustrating. And the positive thing is that this college is very near to the malviya nagar metro station so people coming from far have no problem. This college is also located near select citywalk and hauz khas village so yeah a great place if you know what i mean.
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually delhi University have a tough curriculum than most of the University of India. Exams are good based on CBCS system. Classes are held regularly. We were given enough holidays to study in between exams. And in accounting we were given either to give practical in tally or attempt part c. So overall the course is nice and I don't regret.
Placement Experience
I am in first year so i don't know much about placements. But i have heard that Delloite , EY , KPMG do come in our college but only chooses the toppers and the students getting selection is among 2 out of 10. Internship opportunity is given enough by placement cell i think. But most of them are startups or small companies giving smaller roles. I don't know much about this. Stipend is around 5000-15000
College Events
Well I'm in first year so don't know much but asking from seniors there are plenty much of events happening in our college like college freshers and many more. Since it's a south campus college you can't expect events like that of north campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's a central government college so fees is very feasible. My 1 year fees is 6880 inr. So i think it's very less. At first i didn't even believe this but yeah it's true and we also have to pay semester fees individual apart from the 1 year fees which is less than 1000 inr
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes scholarships are do provided by our college. You have to contact the office of the college to know further , i have a friend who got his whole year fees refunded. So yeah give it a try. Or you can check in government website there are plenty of scholarships available for central college students.
Campus Life
Labs and all are good but this college doesn't have a good infrastructure and doesn't even have a playground. So it's demerit. And the socities here are very active so you can have some good experience and can be a part of it. Overall the college is great if academics and socities matters to you.
Hostel Facilities
I don't think the college has any hostels. Delhi University has limited hostels and that too is given to reserved category students first. We have to opt for pg or rent a flat. It's located in malviya nagar which is very costly.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are very helpful. They will help you with notes and in the admission process. I have got some great seniors who helped me in this year. About alumni is that i don't have any contact with any alumni of the college since I'm in first year.
Admission
Delhi University releases merit list on the prescribed date , the if your marks are equal to or more than the cutt off then you can apply for the college. Total 8 cutt off were realeased this year and i got my admission in 4th cutt off.
Faculty
The faculty is amazing. Being a south campus college i was first afraid that it might not be as good as north campus. But when i started studying there i realised the teachers here are extremely genius and there teaching skills are very much good. I don't regret anything as of now. The teachers guides us for our career and it makes me feel proud of our college. They are so much humble.
