Remarks
No negative,this College gives only positive things.I wish the College campus were little big to wonder.then it would be a dream college for every student live nearby or little far away from this college.otherwise,It is a very nice college. Such a nice environment to study and we get every possible opportunity to be a successful in our life.
Course Curriculum Overview
8 semester in total 4 in a year. In one semester two internals. Semester also included laboratory exams and viva. College is under MAKAUT. Very nice and healthy curriculum. I am very happy to be here and I will suggest other to be here as student friendly environment makes a healthy learning process.
Placement Experience
I am from Mechanical Engineering department. Placements are amazing in department like CSE, ECE, IT,. Apart form the core departments all the departments have nice placement records. Internship is tough here but we are provided with such facilities as well.
College Events
Lots of things happens here. Starting form technology fest to cultural fest. Technical Fest is known as AVENIR,where the cultural fest is known as MESMERIZER. Students from different colleges,even from IIT students,participate in this fest. College cooperate with the students to make these events successfully.
Fee Structure And Facilities
4 lakhs in total. Very cheap for a private engineering college. In west Bengal this is one the best college. I am happy to be here and I suggest others to be here. Fees is not everything but the quality of education is important.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college do provide us with, Students scholarship according to their results in semester.Student can also apply for WBFS(West Bengal Free ship Scheme),or WBHFS(West Bengal Half Free ship Scheme). It is a nice college. Such a nice environment to study and we get every possible opportunity to be a successful in our life.
Campus Life
The Labs are very neet and clean.the Language lab is designed with the help of IIT KHARAGPUR students, which makes the lab more amazing,and helps the students to make their communication skills better.The labs are well maintained by the lab faculties.Yearly games are being organised by the college,which includes Football, cricket,Chase,Carum, Treasure Hunt,Tug of war,Volly ball,Kabaddi.Every student participate in those events.even Teachers also participate in football match to compete against the students, which make the event more enjoyable.
Hostel Facilities
No I have not opted for hostel. And there is no such facilities provided by the college. I am happy to be here and I suggest others to be here as well. It is a nice college. Such a nice environment to study and we get every possible opportunity to be a successful in our life.
Alumni/Alumna
As per my knowledge, Computer science and engineering Department do arrange for a alumni meet, seniors do come and meet and enjoy together.Juniors also contribute in this event to make it seniors are very much helpful,they try in every possible way to make the new comers feel free to learn and experience new things in life.
Admission
I appear in the WBJEE examination.Minimum eligibility criteria for B.Tech is 10+2 with 50% (45% for SC/ST) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as main subjects.WBJEE/ JEE Main or any other equivalent entrance qualified candidates are eligible for admission to B.Tech course.
Faculty
Very nice and friendly faculties are here im our college. Very helpful as well. We get help in every situation. From projects to assignment or any doubt. All are cleared by the faculty. Teachers help us in every possible way. I am very happy to be here.
