2nd best private college in west bengal

There are no co-curricular activities yet active in our college being an electronics student we do not know how to implement adreno or others programmable circuit boards which can be shame for us most of the times because we don't practice the same.

The course curriculum is bit outdated and mostly based on the WBUT pattern yes the exams are quite tougher respective to the WBUT exams exams that is as same as the other colleges it is like we have to give two internal or can be said as class test in every semester and and then the semester exams occurs. Being autonomous institute the question papers are being made by the teachers and the itself and yes the number do depends upon the teacher and the the perspective of the student upon the teacher.

Yes the most of the placement goes through the IT companies as usual there are no core jobs or they are minimalistic and that and these cause of doesn't pay you that much so the most of the placements occurs in IT companies and if you are in IT related branch you will be placed with decent package yes the college do provide us internships but they are paid if you want to get a internship in which you will get a stipend and have to get it yourself.

Our college used to host one of the biggest fest in the entire Kolkata city but due to some of the problems it ended. Technical fest were also being held at our campus but after few incidents there were no more and other activities is there are some of the groups which are quite active such as NSS and rotaract.

The fee structure is quite feasible and is not that expensive respective to the other Indian private engineering colleges the semester fee starts from 44000 for a semester and surges upto 50000 in the last two semesters.

Being a private college there are not good scholarship programs with if you take loan from a government bank it will provide you some of the benefits which you can enjoy.these loans are state to state specific but yes being a college in West Bengal most of the students are from the neighbouring States if you are TFW student then you will have to pay very minimalistic charge of 10000 per semester.

Infrastructures of the lab is good but most of the components doesn't work sometimes which leads to a problematic situations during examinations sports is not that possible in our college there are two of the grounds but they are not that good.

Earlier I was staying in hostel which cost about 6000 a month for both fooding and lodging is the hostel infrastructure was quite good but the food was not up to the mark and you will definitely miss your home while eating.

Alumni network is quite strong there available is at present in every field of the market today from taking to higher studies to good industrial jobs there is agood presence of our seniors. One of our students last year senior from biotechnology department ranked 1 in the GATE examination.

I appeared in WBJEE 2017 at got a rank of 4857, through which i was qualified for the councelling process and further i took addmission. The counselling process is for 3 rounds and we have to lock lock the branches according to our preferences in ascending order counselling process goes for 3 rounds and each round and for each around a list of candidates is been selected through which they can lock their respective colleges and their respective departments ,through my rank I was able to get electronics and communication discipline in my college.

The faculty of every department is not that good as I have heared,IT department such as electronics and communication ,computer science and information technology ,faculties of these departments are well qualified but most of they were not good but you'll get some of the good teachers who will be able to make you understand what's the thing is all about.
