MY TKM

There is only positive remark to my college. The college infrastructure is similar to THE TAJ MAHAL and the founder of the college, JanabThangal Kunju Musliar had a great thought about the importance of the education. The faculty, alumni, even though the name itself provides some positivity in everybody's mind.

The course curriculum were excellent. Even though there will be lots of holidays due to celebration and political party strikes, the faculty and student will manage and arrange the class accordingly to it. There was course committe were both teaching faculty and some students in the class were members.

There is an active placement cell working in our college. Due to their hardwork and dedication around 600 students from final year would get placement annually. They will provide sessions for personality devolopment and mock interview sessions which will take place on holidays. Major companies TCS, MRF, WIPRO, IQVIA, MITSOGO, BYJUS, TRADEOCEAN, TATA ELIXA etc.

There are many events celebrated in the college including fresher's day, union day, department Inauguration day, arts day, sports day, tech fest and annual day etc. There is college dance team and also college music band to perform the cultural events and also other students can participate. Apart from that major festivals also celebrated including onam, christmas etc.

My college is government aided college so the merit fees is only 10000 per year. Apart from that there is no fees for OEC and sc/St students. Also there is fee waver category in which students who secured high marks in entrance will only need to pay Rs 1000.

Even though the fees is very less there are many economically backward students who need to pursue degree with good marks. There are government scholarship programmes and the college office will provide notification about every scholarship. Apart from that there are many college alumni scholarships.

There are many extra cullicular activities including interbrach cricket, football, volleyball, etc tournaments and also dance and band competition and this will provide some relief in both students and staff minds. Many university championships are achieved by our college.

I studied my btech for 4 years by staying in the hostel. The cleaning staff and med staff were so conscious about caring the students, the infrastructure were good, there were four blocks and in each block is four storeyed building. There is no lift but the plans for implementing each is going on. The fees will be around on 4000 rs.

Our alumni chapters are really large and vast. There are alumni chapters in uae, Kuwait, Oman, mumbai, banglore, cochin, Kollam, eyrope and even in USA. This year the annual mega alumni meet is going to take part in the BOSTON, USA. Alumni association are really helpful in both job and money related issues. The also provide several scholarships for the students.

I wrote the engineering entrance exam and I secured good marks in it. My college is one of the best colleges in the kerala state. So I applied best colleges including TKM. The allotment list came and I got seat in Mechanical engineering. For the admission and I came up with the documents they specified along with my father.

Most of the faculty in the college extra ordinary and also achieved doctorate in their own field. They will share their industrial and application experience in order to more active and energetic. They will clear all the doubts the students have and they will present in their rooms even after their class session.
