Best engineering college in North-East

My college is a nice steal for someone who wants to pursue an engineering program, especially in this particular region. College campus is good and the quality of teaching is pretty good. The infrastructure of the college is good. Placements are pretty decent for the engineering students.

Course curriculum was good and informative. We learned a lot from the course, especially the lab practicals. Course was carefully curated in order to make students comfortable with the rapidly growing IT industry and the making the students industry ready.

Placements are pretty good and many reputable brands pay visit to our campus and recruit students for a variety of profiles like quality analyst, server engineer, site engineer and many more depending upon the profile. Companies like Infosys, TCS, CocaCola, Amazon, Accenture, etc.

My annual fee was around 1,11,000/- which was pretty feasible for me. Fee structure was very flexible for the students who can't afford the fee. The facilities provided by the college are pretty good. Canteens have some decent snack foods which are pretty cheap.

Scholarships are offered as per the norms prescribed by the university. Students belonging to a reserved category or minor categories like SC, ST, OBC, etc. are eligible for availing the scholarship program. The scholarship application consists of a basic application and interview, but I am not sure about it. I just heard it from a batch-mate of our who availed it.

I gave CITDEE exam, which is an entrance exam organised by CIT itself. My exam score was good, so I got a call for the interview round. My interview round with the panel, went pretty smoothly. Next step was document verification, followed by fee submission.

International and Interdisciplinary Collaborative Research Cell at CIT dedicates a high amount of energy towards the promotion of research work. CIT KokRajhar is keen to promote research work and output for faculty and students. Overall the standard of teaching is quite good.
