Course Curriculum Overview
SCOE has been a wonderful college be it in regard to having the best teaching staff, well maintained practical labs, rountined industrial visits. The staff is very keen with their teaching method which is very simple they actually are ready to assist you if you are in problems.
Placement Experience
The internships are not provided by the college during our time we had to find internships for ourselves. The passout percentage of overall college was 75%.
College Events
The college holds probably the biggest event in Pune known as sinhgad karandak which have international artists performing on the campus. Famous artist like W&W, the chain smokers, Brooke Evers and many more the institute’s delighted festival has many big sponsors as Mac Donalds, domino’s etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college provided full transparency in fees. The program fees for the institution was accepted by DD method only no cash or cheques were allowed for the payments. There were no additional charges except the charges for industrial visits. All the events held in college premises were free of cost for the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offered a scholarship for students, but I dont know the exact procedure or eligibility criteria for it.
Campus Life
The college had excellent extracurricular activity like motorsports robotics, fancy dress, stage art, Act play, dance, singing, Rap football, cricket, volleyball. The overall experience of the college was very good be it regarding the education or the extra curricular activity.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the alumni network and senior students are very helpful. We had help from our seniors regarding our project.
Admission
I got admission into the college through the centralized admission process in round 2. Basically there are 3 rounds in which colleges give off their merit list and accordingly students get admission into a particular college depending upon their percentage and jee marks.
Faculty
SCOE BE-mechanical engineering consisted of 5 lectures daily and 1 practical in 5-day week schedule. Saturday and Sundays were usually holidays. The lecturers have approximately 2-5 years of experience while the professors had 10-15 years of experience. The professor was very skilled and had a great industrial experience.
