Remarks

Till now no bad remarks according to me but the only thing I would like to say is if you are ready to compete and don't move back then you can join the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum in this college is according to the Jammu university as far I am passing out through it but now it has become autonomous so it would have gone much better. They are following the latest trending technological subject to make students ready.

Placement Experience

4.5

College provides a good guidance in placement series. They provide smart training to all the students and help in going to joint placements also.

College Events

4.5

There are many events happening in our college such as fest, sports event , technical workshop, smart training, Bootcamp, etc. These events provide the overall exposure to a student and college also provide facilities to students to attend the events that are happening outside the campus

Fee Structure And Facilities

According to the first year, the fee structure was not so expensive but as the year passed and we got into the next year, the fee structure got a bit expensive as was not said by the institution but overall the fee structure remained average for my batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't opt for any scholarship or education loan when I had to get into this college as during the admission it was not so expensive. It was average.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is quite memorable. Gender ratio as far as I could see was almost equal with each gender getting a chance in every field. There are various extracurricular competitions happening in our colleges such as in sports such as cricket matches and various other competitions in debates also.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a vast alumni network and they are in contact with us through the alumni network program and they provide us with good guidance and we are in contact with them through emails and LinkedIn

Admission

First I gave JKCET exam and when results got out. I had a good cutoff to get into this college. Everyone told me that MIET. Jammu is a good college for computer science as my choice was computers so I decided to get into this college and hence got the admission through the JKCET cutoff.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty our college are very helpful and supporting. Besides that they are hardworking. They put their hundred percent to make things clear to each and every student. You can get their help anytime for your subject and they provide good guidance in projects also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
