Amazing college

The college is quite good and helps a lot in the overall development of a person. After completing your degree from this college you will never have any complaints towards your boss when you'll work in a company.

The course curriculum is good and productive. It is set by Jammu University so our college had no role in choosing the courses in the first 3 years but we were given options to choose subjects in last year. The course and especially the college helped a lot.

The placements in this college are good and the college provides a lot of good opportunities and pushes students to their limits.

The MIET Jammu college celebrates a single technical and cultural fest which is the best fest in Jammu and Kashmir and is called Sammilan and the atmosphere of this fest is quite astounding and the events organized are also quite great and enjoyable.

The fee structure is good and feasible. The facilities provided by the college are quite expensive but the fees which the college asks for is quite nominal and affordable. Costly and expensive machinery is installed for the students in the MIET Jammu campus.

I did not opt for any scholarships or education loans. The scholarship was not needed for admission in this college.

The campus life is quite good and the gender ratio is also good. The latest technologies are present in the labs and extracurricular activities were also performed annually during the fest. Workshops were organized during the course of our degree and helped a lot.

The senior students were quite helpful and supportive. No ragging was taken from our batch and the seniors became our friends.

I got an entrance examination which is Jammu Kashmir's common entrance examination i.e JKCET and then after the result came out I was called for the counseling process in which I had to choose the stream and college of my choice. I always had an inclination towards the computer field so I chose and cse and since I wanted to pursue my engineering in Jammu I chose MIET because it is the best college for CSE in Jammu and Kashmir.

The faculty of the college is well qualified and experienced in the field of teaching. The staff is quite helpful and understanding and provides various opportunities for the personal and character growth of a student. The teachers teach in quite a friendly manner.
