Learning Experience

I am a final year student and this year I'll be graduating from here. My 4 years in this college have definitely been the best. All I can say is that the college, the faculty, the management has helped me a lot in growing and learning.

The curriculum that we have here in our college is definitely fair enough and relevant for the students. The quality of the curriculum is research-driven as well as industry-oriented. Both the technical and management curriculums have made me good enough to excel in my field.

Maximum no.of students get placed every year during the placement process. The companies which come here for the placement drive are practo, byjus, etc. If any of the placement drives are being held in other colleges, the college provides transportation for the students to travel.

Throughout the year, a number of events are being held in the college. A number of guest lectures by eminent lecturers from all over the country take place. Alumni meetings are organized. CSI workshops, art and literature workshops, Hackathons, sports events, annual tech fest "Sammilan" also takes place.

The fee structure is made completely transparent at the time of admission into the college. There are no additional charges that one has to pay in order to secure admission to the college. The college accepts the fees through online modes. The fee structure is moderately feasible.

No. I have not opted for any scholarship or education throughout my four years here at this college.

The campus life here at miet is quite an amazing and interesting one. Students can enroll themselves in different clubs ranging from arts to literature. Different competitions, debates, workshops are held in the campus for the students. Also, personality development workshops and smart training are also organized for the students.

From time to time, the college organizes alumni meets so that they can share their experiences with their juniors and help them understand what happens once you start facing the real world.

Miet is one of the top colleges in the northern region as well as the no.1 Engg college in Jammu. It is a well reputed Engg college and it was a privilege for me to be a part of this college. The reason that I opted for IT Engg was that i am into both the technical as well as the management side. The admission process took place after I got miet through jkcet counselling round. The admission process, however, was made quite easy with the help of the amazing staff here at Miet.

The college here provides us the most industry experienced lecturers. The teaching staff of our college is beyond our expectations. Each of the lecturers excels extremely well in his/ her field and have an adequate amount of industry experience. The faculty makes special efforts in conducting the lectures as per the student's wishes so that they can learn well.
