All in all, the college is an absolute package for the students .the college administration is quite understanding and cooperative.

The college curriculum is quite good and happening. There are a lot of extracurricular activities that keep on heading into the college atmosphere. Overall the college curriculum is quite amazing.there is not a type of extra stress that is given to the students

The placement procedure of the college is quite good. Every student is being given special importance according to his /her caliber. Special training is also given to students about how to face the interview

There are very nice events that are being held in the college. Boot camp is being organized by the college in nearby hill station Patni top. Cultural festivals are also organized in the college every year and there are also many technical festivals which are organized in the college

The fee structure of the college is quite feasible according to me. The scholarship is also given to students according to their families financial incomes .thus, the fee structure of the college is quite amazing and feasible .the fee structure is quite good and amazing

I have not opted for the scholarship or any type of educational loan. So, I genuinely can't tell about it very sophisticatedly

The campus life of the college is quite fun .the student will find good propaganda of friends and friendship here .the gender ratio is almost half-half. As a male student, I found good, enthusiastic female students here .the labs and the classes infrastructure is quite up to the mark

The alumni network of the college is quite good.I mean there are students who have done quite well in their fields. Some are also working in the silicon valley

I appeared in the JKCET examination.I got a good rank in the examination. Then, I went to the admission process through the BOPEE. Then, I got to have admission in this college. the whole procedure of admission is quite easy and fulfills students according to their caliber

The faculty of the college is very good. They keep on encouraging the students to keep on pushing their limits. They teach the students with full enthusiasm and encourage the students to think about everything logically .the teachers of the students are very well qualified

The review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

From the starting of 4th year ,we are eligible to sit in the placement and the ratio is almost 65-70 percent percentage head and for it and cse - increff, microsoft ,make my trip ,paypal ,and visa and for civil - L&T and many sales company

My point of view on NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester we become eligible for placements and sit for on campus interviews . In mechanical ONGC , IOCL ,JSW , physics wallah , vedanta and for cse and IT there are companies like paypal , microsoft (internship) , increff etc come for on campus placement.

A student's perspective

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.

NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
