This is a very good govt. deemed university. This is the best engineering college in himachal pradesh India. Other than this campus of the college is very beautiful. All the working staff is vey good and listen your conerns as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have completed the course in electrical and electronics engineering. The structure of the course curriculum is very good and in each semister there are 6 subjects with 3 labs. There are 2 exams in each semister to examine your performance for passing those exam atleast 40% marks should be obtained.
Placement Experience
Good placements computer science. At my time highest package is of 18 lakh but the placement in other branches are little less but a minimum package of 4 lakhs is got by around 70-80% of students. College does not provide any internship.
College Events
In each odd semister college conducts a 3 days cultural activities event called as hillfair. In this they organize the performance of different clubs like dance,music,drama etc. Other than this band performances are also being performed. In each even semister there will be a tech fest in which different types of robotic projects are presented.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is very simple and the fees are reasonable. The college fee contain the following contents: tution fee, hostel fees if applicable, library fee, non refundable security amount, refundable security deposit etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the students who are from SC/ST categories there are different scholership. Other than based on categories scholerships are based on the college performance. If your CGPI is more than 8 then your 50 % fee is reduced. Education loans are easily available on 0% interest rate.
Campus Life
All the extracurricular activities,labs sports are very good. There is a playground in which you can play all the games like cricket, basketball, tennis etc. There are tournaments are organised for all games. Labs are very good contain good equipments for lab experiments.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a good alumni network and senior students are good in nature they are vey supportive. They always help the junior students in their studies. They provide them books and very humble to the new freshers.
Admission
I have cracked AIEEE -2012 with a rank 12374 and after that there was a counseling at the nearest NIT at your place. I belong from Jaipur and i took part in counseling from MNIT Jaipur and after 3 rd counseling i got admission in the college
Faculty
All the facilities of the college are good and they are very supportive. All the facilities are highly educated and having good teaching skills. If you are facing any issues they will listen and try to help you in possible way.
