Our College is one of the best colleges among kerala. A person who enters this college will have lot of beautiful memories before leaving the college. The first 2 years they may be hard on you, but once you are familiarized you will love every second of the college life.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am in here as KTU's 2nd Batch. Our Curriculum was not satisfactory to be honest. The first batch suffered more than us. The Curriculum was really difficult to follow and hence they revised the curriculum for the batches after us. Some exam qualifications was also really hard. The exam structure is actually of 2 series and 1 main exam. You have to score 23 out of 40 marks in together in the series to cto get qualified for the main exam.
Placement Experience
The Placement drive here is one of the best in the region. Last Year we had about 150+ students who got placed at companies like Infosys, Cognizant, MRF, V-guard, IBS, TCS, Indian Navy and so on. Here there are separate teaching staff to prepare for the Interviews, GD, Resume Making etc.
College Events
Our College is known for the events we host. Nakshatra - Techno Cultural Fest Nakshatra is a Inter College fest PRATITYA - College Arts Day PRATITYA is a intra college fest Samyog- Technical Fest Shristi- National Level Exhibition
Fee Structure And Facilities
The Fees structure is actually divided into 3 categories. Merit, Management and NRI. If you get in the Merit List, the fees is really feasible and for that you have to score good marks in Kerala Entrance Examination
Fees and Financial Aid
We offer consideration to people who really is of less income. For that they have to offer the income certificate to prove the same. There is no scholarship that I know of. Should contact the College for more details if any.
Campus Life
Saintgits College of Engineering do give importance to extracurricular activities as equal to the academics. Our College has bagged many prizes therefore like runner-up for KTU C-Zone Football tournament 2019, winners for girls basketball games, table tennis etc
Hostel Facilities
I have been in hostel for 2 years and to be frank, they offer you the best they can. Facilities like game time, hostel day, celebrations like holi, deepawli. You won't regret it and would be leaving the hostel with a lot of memories you remember for the rest of your life.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni do help bringing many companies to the college for placements. They even suggest courses according to the present trend. They tell us where to focus more and which job is now trending among the society
Admission
I actually was an NRI student. Actually I wrote the entrance exam but I actually scored a little bit than the required mark so I had to apply for the NRI quota the fee structure is actually the same but the donations is bit different than the merit and the management qouta which will be returned after the four years of academics. I was opted to stay in the hostel for the past two years so they also bought a reasonable price for your hostel facilities and the food and accommodation
Faculty
The College has faculty who is highly qualified for the job. We faculty people having double PhD, who has written or published a book based on the subject they were working on. We have faculties working for research based on really interesting ideas.
