Remarks

This is the best medical college in karnataka. I need not say much about it as it has got its reputation all over the country. All the departments of this college have faculties who have the best knowledge in the state of karnataka. It's a boon for all the students studying in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

MBBS is the best degree everyone dreams to get. The profession of a doctor is so pure that all believe doctors as gods. A tremendous effort is put up in becoming a doctor and a lot of struggle is faced by the student. But a smile on the patient's face is what a doctor/medical student undergoes all this trouble for. It's a noble profession and the curriculum has been the same from many years. It is a good curriculum in training the students in all the subjects in theoretical and practical way.

Placement Experience

5

A person who studied in Bangalore medical college and research institute always gets a job. It's a college having a big history and great reputation. Everyone gets a job after our degree and with a huge pay also.

College Events

5

An intercollege fest is conducted in the month of December called Cobalt skies which is one of the best fest conducted in South India. An intra college fest called chrysalis is conducted in May. A sports day is conducted every year. Many functions are conducted as per their dates.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it is MBBS it will be expensive. But as it is a government college the fees is afforfable. As only the merit students get seat in this college , the fees is set for all class of people to get admission in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

All the scholarship which are provided by the government are approved by the college. They provide us all the documents required for applying for a scholarship and even provide the documents required to get a loan in any bank.

Campus Life

5

Labs are present for all the subjects in MBBS and all the labs are conducted in a systematic way. All the labs are well maintained. Sports day is conducted every year where we participate and one of the four groups wins the trophy.

Hostel Facilities

5

No I have not opted for hostel. I am a day scholar and travel to the college everyday by metro. From my friends opinion the hostel is very good. There are many hostels for this colleges and the food is very good and affordable.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of this college is too good. People from this college have graduated and scarred all over the world and even now they provide donations for the development of the college. The seniors help juniors in learning the. Pattern for MBBS and the study pattern also.

Admission

I got good marks and rank in NEET exam. I was able to get seat in this college in the mock allotment which was conducted by Karnataka examinations authority which acts as a counciling body and provide seat to students based on merit. I got the seat in the first round of counciling and joined the college.

Faculty

5

The first year subject faculties are very sweet and support us in all the way possible. They try to simplify the subject so that student can understand it properly and apply this knowledge clinically. Same goes for the second year faculty also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
