A very careless attitude towards providing services that we paid for and low degree of quality in almost every single thing. One big point is there is not space to park your vehicle so please be vary.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical Engineering department is decent but not the best,. Workshops are below average. Classrooms are below average and overall mangemnet is below average too. Also no girls in your class if you're a guy its going to boring for 4 years. Also poor placement record.
Placement Experience
Interships are provided in few qty but extremely low placement record and not so great company profiles. This semester only 2 companies were core others were IT and computer or Marketting related. Very bad for people who love the course.
College Events
Major events are traditional day where everyone dresses up, innovision which is a techfest mostly technical stuff and food, rangbhoomi which is theater plays and dances. Rest of the year its pretty boring.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very Expensive and Not worth it. 1.2L per year. Its the most expensive degree around this area. Fees are lowest for SC around 2000 rupees. For OBC around 40k. Rest have to pay full amount. Also to be noted the account section is filled by slow faculty which suck the soul out of you and make you wait hours.
Fees and Financial Aid
EBC. Its a scholarship for Economically weaker students get this easily after giving a income proof, educational loan are provided by third party but are not advised due to high interest rates and further repayment issue. Its easy to find a job near campus to pay your fee too.
Campus Life
Labs are poorly maintained. Sports like carrom, football and cricket are played outside. Thats it. Some time ago there was a TT Table but it disappeared someday and now we only have carrom as indoor. Also hygene levels are poor in these places.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rates go around a lakh a year and food in canteen cost ?50 per meal or 25k a year for all meals and snacks. Canteen quality is horrible but has options to buy other food mostly junk. There's also a good cafe in campus.
Alumni/Alumna
Not at all helpful unless you know them personally. There is a portal but its fairly useless as most alumnis dont care about this college and/ or are busy with their lives. Seniors in campus are very helpful though.
Admission
Apply for CET pay a small fee to DTE and 12th boards wait for merit list, select your branch, wait for branch specific merit lists if not selected wait for another round (5 rounds) you'll get a confirmation regarding the same and you have to go to the college to sign the papers of admission along with your personal records and documents. You can join the college in a few weeks.
Faculty
Very arrogant HOD but teachers do a good job, Principal seems like a complete idiot and never bothers to come visit us. They help you when needed and submissions are easy if done on time. The HOD seriously needs some mental help.
